    REDUCE

    REDUCE

A Portable General-Purpose Computer Algebra System

...REDUCE has a long and distinguished place in the history of computer algebra systems. Other systems that address some of the same issues but sometimes with rather different emphasis are Axiom, Derive, Macsyma (Maxima), Maple, Mathematica and MuPAD. REDUCE primarily runs on either Portable Standard Lisp (PSL) or Codemist Standard Lisp (CSL), both of which are included in the SourceForge distribution. By modern standards, REDUCE is a surprisingly small and compact application, which runs well on all major operating systems.

    EDM Calibration Baseline Fitting

    EDM Calibration Baseline Fitting

EDMFit is an adjustment tool to estimate EDM calibration parameters.

An EDM calibration baseline is used to derive specific instrument errors of the electronic distance measurement (EDM) unit of a total station. EDMFit is a simple adjustment tool to estimate the EDM calibration parameters (addition constant and/or scale parameter). The adjustment process is according to ISO 17123-4. The parameters are checked for significance, to avoid an overestimation.

A set of Unix command line tools for quick and convenient batch processing of tabular text files (a.k.a., tab-delimited, csv, or flat file format) with a header line. Provides delimiter and compression detection, column reference by name. * tblmap: per-line ("map") computation: derive columns through an expression, delete, reorder, filter rows. * tblred: compute ("reduce") aggregations (e.g., sum, average) over groups defined by key columns. * tbldesc: Summarize columns in file (e.g., proportion of character/numeric values, min/mean/median/max, missing values, correlation with a target column). * tbljoin: Relational join without the need of pre-sorting and column matching...

    R package kOO

    implementing k-spatial entropy methodology

...Basically this is related to the computation of the distribution of k co-occurrences of spatial events (generalising the contiguity distributions - 2 co-occurrences at distance 0) to derive spatial clustering statistics (mainly using the Shannon entropy, then called the k-spatial entropy) and methods linked to this: SOOk, SelSOOk (see caGEO paper) and scankOO (see TGIS). Another method (CAkOO) performing a k-Correspondence Analysis (i.e. on a multiway table with k entries) on the contingencies of co-occurrenceshas been already "published in my JSS paper about another R package: PTAk. ...
