PRTG Catches Network Issues Before They Cause Downtime

Threshold-based alerts flag problems early, so your team can act before users notice, not after.

Reactive troubleshooting usually means hearing about a problem from frustrated users, not your monitoring tool. PRTG sets threshold-based alerts across devices, servers and applications, notifying your team by email, SMS or push the moment a metric crosses a set limit. That means catching a failing disk or overloaded server before it becomes an outage and getting time back from firefighting. Start a free trial and set your first alerts today.

    Embed Data

    Embed Data

Michael Haephrati about techniques to embed resources in a static libr

It started when Michael Haephrati needed to release a Static library as a product and include some resources in it. That is usually impossible since a program that uses such Static library will use its own resources. Michael Haephrati posted a question (which he himself answered after finding this solution). MIchael Haephrati realized that this solution deserves an article with source code. Haephrati have also posted a question about that possibility in Stack Overflow. Based on the following Code Project article https://www.codeproject.com/Articles/1275122/How-to-Embed-Resources-in-a-Static-Library by Michael Haephrati.

    Prometheus Spec

    Prometheus Spec

Censorship-resistant trustless state channels for machine learning

...This work addresses the problem of computational integrity proofs (correctness of the actual computations) made by some non-trusted (anonymous) third party without repeating the whole volume of the actual computing. The issue is usually addressed by use of probabilistically checkable proofs (PCP), however, such simple approach leave untouched the question of coupling the payments for the consumed computational resources with the actual proof. The purpose of our protocol is to scale distributed calculations by obtaining results of nearly perfect (measurable) quality, without the need to repeat calculations or check the computational integrity proofs by the client.

    BNNPT

A powerful method for nonlinear dependence of two continuous variables

Testing dependence/correlation of two variables is one of the fundamental tasks in statistics. In this work, we proposed a powerful method for nonlinear dependence of two continuous variables (X and Y). We addressed this research question by using BNNPT (Bagging Nearest-Neighbor Prediction Test, software available at https://sourceforge.net/projects/bnnpt/). In the BNNPT framework, we first used the value of X to construct a bagging neighborhood structure. And then, we got the out of bag estimator of Y based on the bagging neighborhood structure. The square error was calculated to measure how good Y is predicted by X. ...

    Caffe2

    Caffe2

Caffe2 is a lightweight, modular, and scalable deep learning framework

...You can bring your creations to scale using the power of GPUs in the cloud or to the masses on mobile with Caffe2’s cross-platform libraries. Modularity and being designed for both scale and mobile deployments are the high-level answers to the first question. In many ways Caffe2 is an un-framework because it is so flexible and modular. The original Caffe framework was useful for large-scale product use cases, especially with its unparalleled performance and well tested C++ codebase. Caffe has some design choices that are inherited from its original use case: conventional CNN applications.

Deep Learning is in very high interest these days - there's a crucial need for rapid and optimized implementations of the algorithms and architectures. TensorFlow is designed to facilitate this goal. ...
