    Virtual Sound Level Meter for analyzing calibrated sound files

    ...The program will read in a calibrated .wav file and allow the user to analyze it as one would analyze a sound field with a sound level meter. The software implements Fast, Slow, Impulse and LEQ; A, C and Flat Weighting; Ln and Noise Dose analysis; Octave and 1/3 Octave band analysis; high resolution FFT analysis and spectrograms. Band analysis can be made using fast FFT methods or slower, but ANSI standard methods. Source code requires MATLAB + Signal Processing Toolbox. Developed under MATLAB R2010a (but might work with some earlier versions) Executable version does not require MATLAB and runs under Windows XP, Vista, and Windows 7.

    This matlab code presents an introduction to isogeometric analysis whereby the basis functions that are used for computer aided geometric design (CAGD) are also used for approximation in finite element analysis. The present code uses Non-Uniform Rational B-Splines but it should be noted that the CAGD community is making headway towards other descriptions of the geometry, overcoming the limitations of NURBS such as lack of water-tightness.

    Connected components toolbox

    Extracts blobs using hue, saturation and value components

    Luckly, there are a number of examples and source code written for connected components analysis. However, in most of these examples only the grayscale values are used and a single threshold is chosen for extracting blobs from an image. In this example, I used Hue, Saturation and Value components to perform blob extraction analysis(connected compoonent extraction). I also created a simple visual toolbox for demonstration purpose.
