Initially VRML2.0 models will be created but FreeCAD models will also be created as FreeCAD features mature. I hope these efforts will contribute to KiCAD's ability to produce quality 3D views of a project and, ultimately, STEP models which can aid in the electronics/mechanical integration process. -
