VLC is an open source cross-platform multimedia player and framework, which plays most multimedia files, DVDs, Audio CDs, VCDs, and various streaming protocols. VLC media player is simple, fast, and powerful. It plays everything, files, discs, webcams, devices, and streams. VLC plays most codecs (MPEG-2, DivX, H.264, MKV, WebM, WMV, MP3, etc.) so no codec packs are needed. It runs on all platforms: Windows, Linux, Mac OS X, Unix, etc. And VLC is hassle free with no spyware, no ads, and no user tracking.

IGMPproxy is a simple dynamic Multicast Routing Daemon using only IGMP signalling. It's intended for simple forwarding of Multicast traffic between networks. It supports ShoutCast and IceCast and runs on Linux, MacOS and Windows. The main purpose of butt is to stream live audio data from your computers Mic or Line input to an Shoutcast or Icecast server. djmount is a UPnP AV client. It mounts as a Linux filesystem (using FUSE) the media content of compatible UPnP AV devices : the Audio and Video content on the network is automatically discovered, and can be browsed as a standard directory tree.

Long term goal to create MythTV hooks (Linux) but some bits are useful elsewhere. Hope to utilize any official Vulkano SDK for Linux one is ever released. Note my Hava died in May 2013 so there will likely be no more updates for Hava devices. I bought a Vulkano to replace it and hope to have similar functionality for it soon.
