    VR Neuroanatomy

    VR Neuroanatomy

Explore and dissect a complete brain model in VR

Understanding the anatomy of complex organs such as the human brain can be a challenge for students, so there is a definite advantage given to students who can experience the structures in a spatial way through real or virtual experiences. Since 2016, the Marquette Visualization Lab has been utilizing a dataset of 3 and 7 Tesla MRI scans from the Structural Informatics Group at University of Washington to visualize the structures of the brain in their Cave, utilizing the Unity game engine and 10 stereoscopic 3D projectors. Most MRI scans are presented as a volumetric rendering, but this dataset is unique because it was fully labelled and parcellated, allowing lab users to not only view the structures of the brain, but also virtually dissect it in a large scale, collaborative virtual reality environment. ...

    nginx ui

    nginx ui

Nginx UI allows you to access and modify the nginx configurations

We use nginx in our company lab environment. It often happens that my colleagues have developed an application that is now deployed in our Stage or Prod environment. To make this application accessible nginx has to be adapted. Most of the time my colleagues don't have permission to access the server and change the configuration files and since I don't feel like doing this for everyone anymore I thought a UI could help us all.

    Skippity

    Skippity

Test and measurement automation for electronics, physics and more

GET INVOLVED - see General Discussion Skippity is a versatile script-based automation controller for test and measurement instrumentation. It’s ideal for use on the test bench or for automating experiments in the lab. Skippity doesn't rely on instrument specific vendor drivers so it can communicate with both legacy and current commercial instruments and also with devices you've designed and built yourself. Once you've told Skippity about your instruments and their commands using simple dialogs, you can use those definitions in scripts to create multi-instrument test sequences without worrying further about the specifics of your instruments. ...

    BotSlayer

    BotSlayer Community Edition

BotSlayer is an application that helps track and detect potential manipulation of information spreading on Twitter. The tool is developed by the Observatory on Social Media at Indiana University --- the same lab that brought to you Botometer and Hoaxy. BotSlayer is not a tool to detect and remove likely social bots from your list of Twitter followers or friends. For that purpose, check out Botometer. If you just want to visualize the spread of some piece of information, consider Hoaxy. BotSlayer can be used, for example, by journalists, corporations, and political candidates to discover in real-time new coordinated campaigns in their domains of interest, without any prior knowledge of these campaigns. ...
