    MINIBIAN image for Raspberry Pi

MINIBIAN is a MINImal RaspBIAN-based Linux image for Raspberry Pi

...The main advantage is that MINIBIAN has a very small footprint, boots in some seconds and uses just few of precious RPi RAM. Unlike other similar projects, MINIBIAN has not been obtained purging unneeded packages from original image, neither recompiling the source code: it’s just a customized Raspbian installation obtained from the same repository used for official RPi image. So kernel and binary files are exactely the same you will find on standard image, with the difference that MINIBIAN fit on 1GB SD Card, is fastest, and updated more often.

    vim-pathogen

    vim-pathogen

    pathogen.vim: manage your runtimepath

...It also supports “infecting” arbitrary directory patterns, so you can keep your plugin directories wherever you like and still have them load seamlessly. While Vim 8 and newer include native “packages” support, Pathogen remains valued for its simplicity and for backward compatibility with older Vim versions. The README emphasises minimal fuss: once execute pathogen#infect() is in your vimrc, you can clone plugin repositories and they just work. Overall, Pathogen gives you a clean, maintainable plugin-directory structure.

    File Control

    Network file copying/moving/deleting

This HTA grew out of a client's requirement to quickly push out configuration files, mainly INIs and XMLs, to either individual PCs or groups of PCs without the nuisance of creating packages for them and using a deployment mechanism like SCCM. I added the ability to manipulate folders as well, since the additional code to do that was minimal The script uses a status bar "control" which is part of HTALite.HTC. It's included in the ZIP but the latest version should be available here but it can be stripped out easily if you don't like it. ...

    gdk_imlib2

    gdk_imlib2

    gdk_imlib image loader for gtk+-2.0

For those of us who have legacy software, the deprecation of gdk_imlib in gtk+-2.0 and gtk+-2.0 is a headache. It would be a lot quicker to port legacy software packages like this if gdk_imlib were available. This package, is a port of gdk-imlib to gtk+-2.0 which preserves all the feature of the original (gtk+-1.2) libraries. It means that if you have old graphics code you don't have to waste time re-writing it using GdkPixbuf or Cairo surfaces. Of course, we are not advocating using this library for new code, but you can if you prefer to use the gdk_imlib API for image loading & manipulation.

    json Validator Command line

Validate common syntax errors in json files from the command line

...Our new json validator, vbag, gives users the ability to scan multiple json files at once by doing any of the following: --specify the .json file to be scanned on the command line --specify a list file containing the list of json files to be scanned --specify a common name in all the json files you wish to scan (if you're in the same directory they're in) --automatically scans all recently modified json files it finds, if using github. Benefits of our json validator: -- Installs cleanly on your hosts - no need for any extra modules, libraries or packages -- There is no learning curve -- Runs locally on your machine -- You never have to leave the network -- No need to copy/paste to someone else's server -- More secure, will not be in someone else's webcache -- Not having to copy / paste files to jsonlint each time you wish to verify a long list of json files

    pipsi

    pipsi

    pip script installer

pipsi is an older Python command-line tool for installing Python packages that expose global scripts. Its name stands for “pip script installer.” Instead of installing command-line packages into the system Python environment, it places each package into its own isolated virtualenv. It then symlinks the installed scripts into a user-level binary directory, allowing commands to run globally without using sudo.
