    LABjs

    LABjs

    Loading And Blocking JavaScript

LABjs is a lightweight JavaScript loader focused on speeding up page performance by controlling how and when scripts download and execute. It provides an expressive API to load multiple files in parallel while guaranteeing execution order, so dependent scripts don’t break. By decoupling fetch from execute, it avoids the blocking behavior of traditional tags and helps reduce perceived load time. LABjs embraces a “load groups, then wait” model that makes dependency management clear without a separate build step. It’s designed to work across a wide range of browsers, including older ones, which is why it relies on robust feature detection and time-tested loading techniques. ...

    ipvi

This is an utility for IPv6 similar to whatmask for IPv4

With the exhaustion of IANA's IPv4 pool, that happened on February/2011 (see this FAQ's comment on RIPE.net), the deployment of IPv6 is now imperative. In order to both understand and handle that immense address space, however, we need some helpers, and that is exactly what this little utility provides. Unlike the majority of similar utilities, that are accessible only online and only through some Web interface, this tool have just a CLI interface, that is available all time because it runs locally on whatever hardware you prefer. ...

    LGML

    LGPL GML parser

LGML is a GML parser under the LGPL license. The aim is to parse a GML document or fragment in order to get a WKT output. 2D and 3D inputs are both handled, but it is not permitted to have mixed geometries. The caller can choose if the input coordinates are parsed as X, Y, Z (if present) order, or Y, X, Z (if present) order. The willing of the project is to be a starting point useful for developers that need to parse GML objects in order to use them, for example, in the context of OGC catalogue projects. ...

    USPS Bulk Mail Sorter

Sorts bulk mailings according to USPS standards.

For bulk mailings there are many standards required by the USPS in order to qualify for their bulk rates. One of the most tedious standards is pre-sorting every address according to Area Distribution Centers (ADC) which becomes even more tedious when working with "Flats" as defined by the post office. I work for a non-profit who used to manually sort through every address manually. So I designed a program for them that would speed up the process considerably.

...Our main contribution is a novel inference approach for solving this problem in a sequential monte carlo (SMC) sampling framework. Usually in an SMC framework there is a natural ordering of the states of the samples. The order typically depends on observations about the states or on the annealing setup used. In many applications (e.g., image jigsaw puzzle problems), all observations (e.g., puzzle pieces) are given at once and it is hard to define a natural ordering. Therefore, we relax the assumption of having ordered observations about states and propose a novel SMC algorithm for obtaining maximum a posteriori (MAP) estimate of a high-dimensional posterior distribution.

Universal Random Number Service for Agent-Based Models

The purpose of URaNuS (Universal Random Number Service) is to provide a common library for Agent-based models that allows modelers to define different random streams and/or generators for different model parts in order to investigate the influence of distinct model parts to stochasticity. It is also useful to manage random numbers in the interplay of multiple libraries.

Real-time strategy game developed on python, pygame

...A single player can play alone, but it is designed to be a multiplayer game. One of the players must begin a new game (as host), and all other players need to know the i.p. address of the host in order to join the game. When all players are ready, the map is shown and the game begins. To know your ip address on linux: sudo ifconfig and look next to "inet addr:". On windows: ipconfig The goal of the game is to build settlements, roads, cities and more, to be able to gather resources and be able to build even more. Simbuca
SIMBUCA (before called Simonion) is a simulation package that simulates the motion of charged particles under the influence of Electric and/or Magnetic fields. What makes Simbuca unique is that you can choose to calculate the Coulomb interaction between ions on a Graphics cards which is much faster than calculating this on the conventional CPU (reducing the simulation time from years to days). Therefore Simbuca has been applied in various projects which required to understand the...

    Network Analyzer

Analyze the network carateristics like Delay, Jitter, Packet loss etc.

...(The receiving host is then required to echo all the packets back to the sender, which can be easily done via iptables rule under linux). Once the eched packets arrives back to the sender, the analyzer will calculate all the related statistics like, packet loss, jitter throughput etc... NOTE: in order to receive the echo packets you must configure the receiving host to echo the incoming packets. In the next release i will provide another java application that just echo on an UDP port.
