    MYRA

    MYRA

A collection of ACO algorithms for the data mining classification task

MYRA is a collection of Ant Colony Optimization (ACO) algorithms for the data mining classification task. It includes popular rule induction and decision tree induction algorithms. The algorithms are ready to be used from the command line or can be easily called from your own Java code. They are build using a modular architecture, so they can be easily extended to incorporate different procedures and/or use different parameter values. This project is now hosted at: https://github.com/febo/myra

    EEG Seizure Prediction

    EEG Seizure Prediction

Seizure prediction from EEG data using machine learning

The Kaggle-EEG project is a machine learning solution developed for seizure prediction from EEG data, achieving 3rd place in the Kaggle/University of Melbourne Seizure Prediction competition. The repository processes EEG data to predict seizures by training machine learning models, specifically using SVM (Support Vector Machine) and RUS Boosted Tree ensemble models. The framework processes EEG data into features, trains models, and outputs predictions, handling temporal data to ensure accuracy.

    Starling Extension Graphics

    Starling Extension Graphics

flash.display.Graphics style extension for the Starling Flash GPU

...It automatically triangulates vector shapes, letting developers use familiar drawing APIs but get performance benefits of GPU rendering via Starling. Starling is an ActionScript 3 library that mimics the conventional Flash display tree architecture. In contrast to conventional display objects, however, Starling "lives" entirely inside the Stage3D environment. That means that all objects are rendered directly by the GPU, which leads to a significant performance boost.

...The branch lengths as well as the topology of a parsimonious tree can quickly be obtained by using this method. Using computer simulation, we studied the efficiency of this method in obtaining the correct unrooted tree in comparison with that of five other tree-making methods.

    SummitDB

    SummitDB

In-memory NoSQL database with ACID transactions, Raft consensus, etc.

...Go must be installed on the build machine. It may be worth noting that while SummitDB supports many Redis features, it is not a strict Redis clone. SummitDB provides one key space that is a large B-tree. An ordered key space allows for stable paging through keys using the KEYS command. Redis uses an unordered dictionary structure and provides a specialized SCAN command for iterating through keys.

    VeriSiMPL

Verification via biSimulations of Max-Plus-Linear models

...The LTS finite abstractions are shown to either simulate or to bisimulate the original MPL system. LTS models are to be verified against given specifications expressed as formulae in Linear Temporal Logic (LTL) and Computation Tree Logic (CTL). The toolbox intends to leverage the NuSMV model checker. Models are to be expressed in the C++ language. The abstraction procedure runs in C++. The generated LTS is exported to the NuSMV language. As such, it can be fed, along with a specification of interest, to the NuSMV model checker. If you are more familiar with JAVA language, we suggest you to try VeriSiMPL version 2.0 which is fully based on JAVA. ...

...However, based on the gene sequences length, our algorithm starts either with the "kmer" distance table or with the "Dynamic Programming (DP)" distance table. The other steps of this algorithm include: generating a Guide-tree using UPGMA, multiple sequence alignments, "kimura" distance calculation from aligned sequences and new techniques to improve multiple sequence alignments. Assessed on BAliBASE 3.0, PREFAB 4.0,SABMARK 1.65, and OXBENCH, IPAS gives accurate alignment compared to the existing well known methods: T-Coffee, MUSCEL, and MAFFT.

    Fondement Michtam

Few useful tools that will be liberally used in all my projects.

...Memory management: My projects try to manage memory with a strict stack discipline (when possible). There are 2 main stacks, only one of which is widely used. It is also possible to push a stack on a stack, so this is really more a tree than a stack discipline. Fondement Michtam offers primitives to: - Setting 2 main stacks. - The general purpose rStack. By convention, any new created object is stacked on it. - The pStack used for stocking (short lived) results of intermediate computation. - Macros for stacking data, Marking and Releasing. If I am not mistaken, this would be the Pascal way of doing things...

    VisitorGenerator

Generator for visitor code providing no Visitor Pattern in Java

New version 1.0.1 is available since April, 4th 2017. The Visitor Generator creates Java Source Code for classes traversing non-visitable component tree in a half-automated way. Please note that the Visitor Generator does not generate code according to the Visitor Design Pattern. The Visitor Generator generates code for components having no Visitor Design Pattern implemented by customer or design restrictions but there is a need to traverse the component tree. The generates code separates the code for the "visiting" (what to do on a visited node component) and the code implementing the traversal logic by a RelationResolver. ...
