My goal is to get more people learning to fly. To do that on a sim, you really need a usable control surface. The Akai APC Mini has lots of faders and buttons for under $100. I've got a working MIDI-to-SimConnect app specific to the Akai. It needs lots of refinement, but it proves the concept as-is. It would be great to get some others involved to get this out there for more people to use. -

Um pequeno framework didático de games em Java
Com finalidades didáticas, a ideia de criar um pequeno framework em Java, que resolva os problemas básicos de mecânicas e ferramentas para games, nasceu pelo fato do Java não ter suporte nativo a games (tipo um XNA/MonoGame da vida) e esse fato é tão realista que Java não oferece suporte nativo a leitura de um joystick/gamepad. Sendo assim, esse framework não tem a pretensão de competir com qualquer outro que já exista em Java, mas sim ser um guia de referência bem documentada de como resolver alguns problemas em Java. O framework se divide em 2 partes: uma versão em Java 2D/Swing e outra em JavaFX. Por enquanto, apenas a versão Swing está em desenvolvimento, após sua finalização, será convertida as mesmas classes para JavaFX. Espero que ajude a todos! :) Obs.: Este projeto está sob a licença GNU/GPL v.3, mas contém o projeto exp4j 0.4.0 (http://www.objecthunter.net/exp4j/) que está sob a licença Apache v.2 -

...Hardware models are developed using the PAWiS framework and reflect the timing, functionality, and energy-consumption of real-world hardware such as a CC2420 radio transceiver. Network behavior in terms of wireless channel models are provided by the PAWiS and the MiXiM framework. STEAM-Sim is an extension to the PAWiS and MiXiM framework. The underlying simulator is OMNeT++. Please see the corresponding documentation. I also ported the Contiki v2.6 operating system to STEAM-Sim, thus it is possible to run Contiki-based code in the simulation. -

Open-Driving-3D is a driving simulator that I'm making in python with panda3d. I plan to at some point add AI traffic. Its fairly simple right now, but its only on version 0.05. The reason I wanted to create a driving sim was because there don't seem to be enough free ones. You need the Panda3d game engine to run this program. -
