Snap7, through three specialized components: Client and the inedited Server and Partner, allows you to definitively integrate your PC based systems into a PLC automation chain. Designed to transfer large amounts of hi-speed data in industrial facilities, it scales easily, down to small Linux Arm boards such as Raspberry PI. Hi level object oriented wrappers are provided, currently C/C++, .NET/Mono, Pascal, LabVIEW, Python with many source code examples. Very easy to use, a full working server example is not bigger than the “Hello world”. Raman Tool Set has been developed as a user-friendly free software for processing and analysis of Raman spectra and spectroscopy data. Laser Control Utility
RS232 based Nd:YAG laser control and automation interface
The Laser Control Utility was developed to easily handle TTL communication between any instrumentation and the Continuum Surelight laser series. This is achieved by monitoring a TTL signal via the computer LTP1 port, whose signal is transmitted via RS232 to the laser unit, also used to control basic laser parameters, like pulse divider (laser frequency) and Q-Switch. The Shutter modulation feature allows the user to use the TTL signal to open the laser shutter on demand, controlling the length of the laser pulsed as desired. This method yields reproducible full power laser pulses. The original motivation was to interface mass spectrometer data systems to diverse laser systems. Developed by: Jair Menegon, Paulo Moreira and Thiago Correra - University of São Paulo - Brazil. -

Eleana
Program for the analysis of spectroscopic data, in particular EPR(ESR)
Eleana is a program for manipulating, modifying and analyzing various spectroscopic data, in particular electron paramagnetic resonance spectra. It allows you to import data from Bruker spectrometers such as Elexsys or EMX and data from any ASCII file or imported from the clipboard. The program is under constant development, but already has many functions implemented for spectral analysis. Some of the basic functions include: baseline corrections, filtering, spectral clipping, integration / differentiation, pseudomodulation, filtering, etc. More advanced functions are: Forward / Inverse Fourier Transforms, Hilbert Transforms, Nonlinear Curve Fit, Global Analysis Fit of Multiple Curves, and many other. It is also possible to create your own plugins extending Eleana's functionality. -

iCorrector
A program for interference effects correction in PL excitation spectra
The iCorrector is aimed to model and correct the interference fringes affecting the photoluminescence excitation spectra of thin-film dielectric samples. The calculations of the interference profile are performed taking into account the experimental conditions: excitation light incidence angle, wavelength range, luminescent centers distribution. An excitation field depth distribution map (*.bmp), normally calculated by the IMD software (D.L. Windt) is required for the calculations. The module is presented both as LabVIEW virtual instrument and executable requiring LabVIEW runtime (http://joule.ni.com/nidu/cds/view/p/id/2534/lang/en). It may be useful for physicists and material scientists working on the luminescence of thin films. -
