    OSCAL

    OSCAL

Open Security Controls Assessment Language (OSCAL)

NIST is developing the Open Security Controls Assessment Language (OSCAL), a set of hierarchical, XML-, JSON-, and YAML-based formats that provide a standardized representation of information pertaining to the publication, implementation, and assessment of security controls. OSCAL is being developed through a collaborative approach with the public. Public contributions to this project are welcome. With this effort, we are stressing the agile development of a set of minimal formats that are generic enough to capture the breadth of data in scope (controls specifications), while also capable of ad-hoc tuning and extension to support peculiarities of both (industry or sector) standards and new control types. The OSCAL website provides an overview of the OSCAL project, including an XML and JSON schema reference, examples, and other resources.

    ObjectMapper

    ObjectMapper

Simple JSON Object mapping written in Swift

ObjectMapper is a framework written in Swift that makes it easy for you to convert your model objects (classes and structs) to and from JSON. Once your class implements Mappable, ObjectMapper allows you to easily convert to and from JSON. Use functions to validate JSON prior to object serialization provide an existing cached object to be used for mapping, return an object of another type (which also conforms to BaseMappable) to be used for mapping. For instance, you may inspect the JSON to infer the type of object that should be used for mapping. ObjectMapper supports dot notation within keys for easy mapping of nested objects. ObjectMapper also supports custom transforms that convert values during the mapping process. To use a transform, simply create a tuple with map["field_name"] and the transform of your choice on the right side of the <- operator.

    Spots

    Spots

Spots is a cross-platform view controller framework

Spots is a cross-platform view controller framework for building component-based UIs. The internal architecture is built using generic view models that can be transformed both to and from JSON. So, moving your UI declaration to a backend is as easy as pie. Data source and delegate setup is handled by Spots, so there is no need for you to do that manually. The public API is jam-packed with convenience methods for performing mutation, it is as easy as working with a regular collection type. At the top level of Spots, you have the SpotsController which is the replacement for your view controller.

    SwiftyJSON

    SwiftyJSON

Facilitates the use of JSON data in Swift

Swift is strictly specific about types. But even if explicit typing is good for avoiding making mistakes, it becomes painful when we're dealing with JSON and other aspects that are, by definition, implicit about types. SwiftyJSON, however, facilitates the use of JSON data in Swift.

    Sync

    Sync

JSON to Core Data and back. Swift Core Data Sync.

Sync eases your everyday job of parsing a JSON response and syncing it with Core Data. Sync is a lightweight Swift library that uses a convention-over-configuration paradigm to facilitate your workflow. Syncing JSON to Core Data is a repetitive tasks that often demands adding a lot of boilerplate code. Mapping attributes, mapping relationships, diffing for inserts, removals and updates are often tasks that don't change between apps. Taking this in account we took the challenge to abstract this into a library. Sync uses the knowledge of your Core Data model to infer all the mapping between your JSON and Core Data, once you use it, it feels so obvious that you'll wonder why you weren't doing this before.

    Telize

    Telize

High performance JSON IP and GeoIP REST API (IP Geolocation)

Telize is a REST API built in Go allowing to get a visitor IP address and to query location information from any IP address. It outputs JSON-encoded IP geolocation data, and supports both JSON and JSONP. Geolocation operations are performed using the MaxMind DB Reader for Go which caches the database in RAM. Therefore, Telize has very minimal overhead and should be blazing fast. This service offers a REST API allowing to get a visitor IP address and to query location information from any IP address. It outputs JSON-encoded IP geolocation data, and supports both Cross-origin resource sharing (CORS) and JSONP.

    TreeFrog Framework

    TreeFrog Framework

TreeFrog Framework, High-speed C++ MVC Framework for Web Applications

TreeFrog Framework is a high-speed and full-stack C++ framework for developing Web applications, which supports HTTP and WebSocket protocol. Web applications can run faster than that of scripting language because the server-side framework was written in C++/Qt. In application development, it provides an O/R mapping system and template systems on an MVC architecture, aims to achieve high productivity through the policy of convention over configuration. TreeFrog Framework is cross-platform. It runs on Windows, of course, but also on UNIX-like Operating Systems, macOS, and Linux. Using Windows open-source coding, it is possible to support Linux. Web applications that run on multiple platforms are also possible, simply by recompiling the source code. TreeFrog Framework is open-source software, under the new BSD license (3-clause BSD License).

    Twirp

    Twirp

A simple RPC framework with protobuf service definitions

Twirp is a simple RPC framework built on protobuf. You define a service in a .proto specification file, then Twirp will generate servers and clients for that service. It's your job to fill in the "business logic" that powers the server, and then generated clients can consume your service straight away. Twirp routing and serialization reduces the risk of introducing bugs. Both JSON and Protobuf are supported. The Protobuf protocol is designed to allow backwards compatible changes (unlike JSON, it is trivial to rename fields). Protobuf is super fast and the proto file definition also works well as documentation for your service. Twirp is similar to gRPC, but without the custom HTTP server and transport implementations: it runs on the standard library's extremely-well-tested-and-high-performance net/http Server. It can run on HTTP 1.1, not just http/2, and supports JSON serialization for easy debugging.

    TySON

    TySON

TypeScript as a Configuration Language. TySON stands for TypeScript

TySON (TypeScript Object Notation) is a subset of TypeScript, chosen to be useful as an embeddable configuration language that generates JSON. You can think of TySON as JSON + comments + types + basic logic using TypeScript syntax. TySON files use the .tson extension. The goal is to make it possible for all major programming languages to read configurations written in TypeScript using native libraries. That is, a go program should be able to read TySON using a go library, a rust program should be able to read TySON using a rust library, and so on. Our first implementation is written in pure go, and a rust implementation will follow.

    UltraJSON

    UltraJSON

Ultra fast JSON decoder and encoder written in C with Python bindings

UltraJSON is an ultra-fast JSON encoder and decoder written in pure C with bindings for Python 3.7+. May be used as a drop-in replacement for most other JSON parsers for Python. Used to enable special encoding of "unsafe" HTML characters into safer Unicode sequences. Limits output to ASCII and escapes all extended characters above 127. Default is True. If your end format supports UTF-8, setting this option to false is highly recommended to save space. By default, debugging symbols are stripped on Linux platforms. Setting this environment variable with a value of 1 or True disables this behavior. Users planning to link against an external shared library should be aware of the ABI-compatibility requirements this introduces when upgrading system libraries or copying compiled wheels to other machines.

    easyjson

    easyjson

    Fast JSON serializer for golang

Package easyjson provides a fast and easy way to marshal/unmarshal Go structs to/from JSON without the use of reflection. In performance tests, easyjson outperforms the standard encoding/json package by a factor of 4-5x, and other JSON encoding packages by a factor of 2-3x. easyjson aims to keep generated Go code simple enough so that it can be easily optimized or fixed. Another goal is to provide users with the ability to customize the generated code by providing options not available with the standard encoding/json package, such as generating "snake_case" names or enabling omitempty behavior by default.
