    getty

    getty

    Asynchronous network I/O library

Getty is an asynchronous network I/O library developed in Golang. It operates on TCP, UDP, and WebSocket network protocols, providing a consistent interface EventListener. Within Getty, each connection (session) involves two separate goroutines. One handles the reading of TCP streams, UDP packets, or WebSocket packages, while the other manages the logic processing and writes responses into the network write buffer. If your logic processing might take a considerable amount of time, it's recommended to start a new logic process goroutine yourself within codec.go's (Codec)OnMessage method. Additionally, you can manage heartbeat logic within the (Codec)OnCron method in codec.go. If you're using TCP or UDP, you should send heartbeat packages yourself and then call session.go's (Session)UpdateActive method to update the session's activity timestamp. You can verify if a TCP session has timed out or not in codec.go's (Codec)OnCron method using session.go's (Session)GetActive method.

    jello

    jello

CLI tool to filter JSON and JSON Lines data with Python syntax

Filter JSON and JSON Lines data with Python syntax. jello is similar to jq in that it processes JSON and JSON Lines data except jello uses standard python dict and list syntax. JSON or JSON Lines can be piped into jello via STDIN or can be loaded from a JSON file or JSON Lines files (JSON Lines are automatically slurped into a list of dictionaries). Once loaded, the data is available as a python list or dictionary object named '_'. Processed data can be output as JSON, JSON Lines, bash array lines, or a grep-able schema.

    jsoniter-scala

    jsoniter-scala

Scala macros for compile-time generation of safe and ultra-fast JSON

Scala macros for compile-time generation of safe and ultra-fast JSON codecs. This library had started from macros that reused jsoniter (json-iterator) for Java reader and writer but then the library evolved to have its own core of mechanics for parsing and serialization. The idea to generate codecs by Scala macros and main details was borrowed from Kryo Macros and adapted for the needs of the JSON domain. Validate parsed values safely with the fail-fast approach and clear reporting, provide configurable limits for suboptimal data structures with safe defaults to be resilient for DoS attacks, generate codecs that create instances of a fixed set of classes during parsing to avoid RCE attacks.

    orjson

    orjson

Fast, correct Python JSON library supporting dataclasses, datetimes

orjson is a fast, correct JSON library for Python. It benchmarks as the fastest Python library for JSON and is more correct than the standard json library or other third-party libraries. It serializes dataclass, datetime, numpy, and UUID instances natively. orjson supports CPython 3.8, 3.9, 3.10, 3.11, and 3.12. It distributes amd64/x86_64, aarch64/armv8, arm7, POWER/ppc64le, and s390x wheels for Linux, amd64 and aarch64 wheels for macOS, and amd64 and i686/x86 wheels for Windows. orjson does not support PyPy. Releases follow semantic versioning and serializing a new object type without an opt-in flag is considered a breaking change.

A tool for doing record analysis and transformation

This is the home of the tool called rq (record query). It's a tool that's used for performing queries on streams of records in various formats. The goal is to make ad-hoc exploration of data sets easy without having to use more heavy-weight tools like SQL/MapReduce/custom programs. rq fills a similar niche as tools like awk or sed, but works with structured (record) data instead of text. It was created with love out of the best parts of Rust, and is distributed as a dependency-free binary on many operating systems and architectures.

    simdjson

    simdjson

Parsing gigabytes of JSON per second

JSON is everywhere on the Internet. Servers spend a *lot* of time parsing it. We need a fresh approach. The simdjson library uses commonly available SIMD instructions and microparallel algorithms to parse JSON 4x faster than RapidJSON and 25x faster than JSON for Modern C++. The simdjson library uses three-quarters less instructions than state-of-the-art parser RapidJSON. To our knowledge, simdjson is the first fully-validating JSON parser to run at gigabytes per second (GB/s) on commodity processors. It can parse millions of JSON documents per second on a single core.

    simplejson

    simplejson

simplejson is a simple, fast, extensible JSON encoder/decoder

simplejson is a simple, fast, complete, correct and extensible JSON <http://json.org> encoder and decoder for Python 3.3+ with legacy support for Python 2.5+. It is pure Python code with no dependencies but includes an optional C extension for a serious speed boost. simplejson is the externally maintained development version of the json library included with Python (since 2.6). This version is tested with the latest Python 3.8 and maintains backward compatibility with Python 3.3+ and the legacy Python 2.5 - Python 2.7 releases. The encoder can be specialized to provide serialization in any kind of situation, without any special support by the objects to be serialized (somewhat like pickle). This is best done with the default kwarg to dumps.
