    Connexion

    Connexion

Swagger/OpenAPI First framework for Python on top of Flask

Connexion is a framework on top of Flask that automagically handles HTTP requests defined using OpenAPI (formerly known as Swagger), supporting both v2.0 and v3.0 of the specification. Connexion allows you to write these specifications, then maps the endpoints to your Python functions. This is what makes it unique from other tools that generate the specification based on your Python code. You are free to describe your REST API with as much detail as you want and then Connexion guarantees that it will work as you specified. We built Connexion this way in order to simplify the development process. Reduce misinterpretation about what an API is going to look like. With Connexion, you write the spec first. Connexion then calls your Python code, handling the mapping from the specification to the code. This incentivizes you to write the specification so that all of your developers can understand what your API does, even before you write a single line of code.

DataSet Serialize for Delphi and Lazarus

DataSet Serialize for Delphi and Lazarus

JSON to DataSet and DataSet to JSON converter for Delphi and Lazarus

DataSet Serialize is a set of features to make working with JSON and DataSet simple. It has features such as exporting or importing records into a DataSet, validate if JSON has all required attributes (previously entered in the DataSet), exporting or importing the structure of DataSet fields in JSON format. In addition to managing nested JSON through master detail or using TDataSetField (you choose the way that suits you best). All this using class helpers, which makes it even simpler and easier to use.

FlatCC FlatBuffers in C for C

FlatCC FlatBuffers in C for C

FlatBuffers Compiler and Library in C for C

flatcc has no external dependencies except for build and compiler tools, and the C runtime library. With concurrent Ninja builds, a small client project can build flatcc with libraries, generate schema code, link the project and execute a test case in a few seconds, produce binaries between 15K and 60K, read small buffers in 30ns, build FlatBuffers in about 600ns, and with a larger executable also handle optional json parsing or printing in less than 2 us for a 10 field mixed type message. The JSON parser may change the interface for parsing union vectors in a future release which requires code generation to match library versions. This project builds flatcc, a compiler that generates FlatBuffers code for C given a FlatBuffer schema file. This introduction also creates a separate test project with the traditional monster example, here in a C version. The setup script builds flatcc using CMake, then creates a test project directory with the monster example.

    Framework Benchmarks

    Framework Benchmarks

Source for the TechEmpower Framework Benchmarks project

If you're new to the project, welcome! Please feel free to ask questions here. We encourage new frameworks and contributors to ask questions. We're here to help! This project provides representative performance measures across a wide field of web application frameworks. With much help from the community, coverage is quite broad and we are happy to broaden it further with contributions. The project presently includes frameworks on many languages including Go, Python, Java, Ruby, PHP, C#, F#,Clojure, Groovy, Dart, JavaScript, Erlang, Haskell, Scala, Perl, Lua, C, and others. The current tests exercise plaintext responses, JSON serialization, database reads and writes via the object-relational mapper (ORM), collections, sorting, server-side templates, and XSS counter-measures. Future tests will exercise other components and greater computation.

    JSON:API

    JSON:API

A specification for building JSON APIs

This repository defines the specification for JSON:API, a standardized format for building APIs with JSON. The goal is to minimize bikeshedding and inconsistency by giving developers a well-documented schema for requests and responses. It specifies how to represent resources, relationships, pagination, sorting, filtering, and metadata in a predictable way. Clients and servers that follow the spec can interoperate seamlessly without custom glue code for every new service. JSON:API also emphasizes efficiency, recommending ways to reduce payload size and minimize the number of requests. Over time it has become a widely adopted contract for RESTful APIs, helping teams save time and avoid fragmentation across microservices and third-party integrations.

    JSONPlaceholder

    JSONPlaceholder

A simple online fake REST API server

JSONPlaceholder is a free, fake online REST API designed for prototyping, tutorials, and UI demos without standing up a real backend. It provides predictable endpoints for resources like posts, comments, albums, photos, todos, and users with realistic data shapes. Because the data is publicly available and stable, you can build fetch logic, paginate, and render lists while focusing on front-end patterns rather than server plumbing. The API accepts typical HTTP verbs and returns JSON in a consistent format, making it easy to swap with a real server later. It’s widely used in examples, workshops, and automated tests where a dependable dummy service accelerates iteration. With zero setup, it removes a major friction point for learning HTTP clients and front-end data flows.

    JSONVue

    JSONVue

Fork of JSONView for Chromium-based browsers

JSONVue is a Chromium browser extension derived from JSONView for displaying JSON responses in a more readable format. It improves the experience of opening raw JSON in the browser by formatting the data instead of showing unstructured text. The extension is useful for developers, API testers, and anyone who frequently inspects JSON returned by web services. It makes nested objects and arrays easier to scan by applying structured presentation in the browser tab. Because it targets Chromium-based browsers, it fits naturally into Chrome-style web development workflows. JSONVue is best understood as a focused browser utility for making JSON inspection faster and more comfortable.

    Jason

    Jason

A blazing fast JSON parser and generator in pure Elixir

A blazing-fast JSON parser and generator in pure Elixir. The parser and generator are at least twice as fast as other Elixir/Erlang libraries (most notably Poison). The performance is comparable to jiffy, which is implemented in C as a NIF. Jason is usually only twice as slow. Both the parser and generator fully conform to RFC 8259 and ECMA 404 standards. The parser is tested using JSONTestSuite. The package can be installed by adding jason to your list of dependencies in mix.exs. Jason follows the JSON spec more strictly, for example, it does not allow unescaped newline characters in JSON strings - e.g. "\"\n\"" will produce a decoding error. No support for decoding into data structures (the as: option). No built-in encoders for MapSet, Range and Stream. No support for encoding arbitrary structs - explicit implementation of the Jason.Encoder protocol is always required. Different pretty-printing customization options (default pretty: true works the same).

    Jingo

    Jingo

This package provides the ability to encode golang structs

This package provides the ability to encode Golang structs to a buffer as JSON. Buffer is a simple custom buffer type that complies with io.Writer. Its main benefit is that it has a pooling built-in. This goes a long way to helping make jingo fast by reducing its allocations and ensuring good write speeds. When you create an instance of an encoder it recursively generates an instruction set that defines how to iteratively encode your structs. This gives it the ability to provide a clear API but with the same benefits as a build-time optimized encoder. It's almost exclusively able to do all types of assertions and reflection activity during the compile, then makes ample use of the unsafe package during the instruction-set execution (the Marshal call) to make reading and writing very fast.

    Serialize JavaScript

    Serialize JavaScript

Serialize JavaScript to a superset of JSON

Serialize JavaScript to a superset of JSON that includes regular expressions, dates and functions. The code in this package began its life as an internal module to express-state. To expand its usefulness, it now lives as serialize-javascript — an independent package on npm. A primary feature of this package is to serialize code to a string of literal JavaScript which can be embedded in an HTML document by adding it as the contents of the script element. In order to make this safe, HTML characters and JavaScript line terminators are escaped automatically.
