    CSS Exercises
This repository provides a set of hands-on CSS exercises that accompany the HTML and CSS modules in The Odin Project curriculum. The tasks are designed to be completed at specific points in the course, reinforcing each concept right after it is introduced. Learners are encouraged to use documentation and external resources freely, reflecting real-world workflows rather than rote memorization. Each exercise focuses on practical styling problems, from selectors and specificity to layout techniques like flexbox, grid, and responsive design. The structure supports incremental learning, allowing you to test your understanding, compare against expected outcomes, and iterate until styles match the intended result. While solutions exist, the guidance emphasizes problem solving with docs, search, and experimentation before peeking, cultivating independent debugging skills and confidence with CSS.

    ChatGPT Advanced

    ChatGPT Advanced

Browser extension adding web search results to ChatGPT prompts easily

chatgpt-advanced, commonly known as WebChatGPT, is an open source browser extension designed to enhance the capabilities of ChatGPT by integrating real-time web search results into user prompts. It works by intercepting queries submitted to the ChatGPT interface and optionally augmenting them with information gathered from search engines before sending the prompt to the chatbot. This approach allows the model to generate responses that are more current and contextually relevant compared to using ChatGPT alone. chatgpt-advanced runs entirely within the browser and processes search requests locally, meaning it does not rely on a backend server to perform web searches or extract content from pages. It also includes tools for creating and managing reusable prompt templates, making it easier for users to automate common tasks or structure prompts for consistent results. Additional interface elements are integrated directly into the ChatGPT page.

    Cheerio

    Cheerio

Implementation of core jQuery designed for the server

Fast, flexible & lean implementation of core jQuery designed specifically for the server. Cheerio implements a subset of core jQuery. Cheerio removes all the DOM inconsistencies and browser cruft from the jQuery library, revealing its truly gorgeous API. Cheerio works with a very simple, consistent DOM model. As a result parsing, manipulating, and rendering are incredibly efficient. Cheerio wraps around parse5 parser and can optionally use @FB55's forgiving htmlparser2. Cheerio can parse nearly any HTML or XML document. Cheerio parses markup and provides an API for traversing/manipulating the resulting data structure. It does not interpret the result as a web browser does. Specifically, it does not produce a visual rendering, apply CSS, load external resources, or execute JavaScript. If your use case requires any of this functionality, you should consider projects like Puppeteer or JSDom.

    Chokidar

    Chokidar

Minimal and efficient cross-platform file watching library

Chokidar is a solution for all the users of Node.js fs.watch who are tired of it not reporting filenames on MacOS and events at all when using editors like Sublime on MacOS. Node.js fs.watch often reports events twice, emits most changes as rename, and it does not provide an easy way to recursively watch file trees nor supports recursive watching on Linux. Same as with Node.js fs.watchFile. Therefore, Chokidar resolves these problems. Initially made for Brunch (an ultra-swift web app build tool), it is now used in Microsoft's Visual Studio Code, gulp, karma, PM2, browserify, webpack, BrowserSync, and many others. It has proven itself in production environments. Chokidar does still rely on the Node.js core fs module, but when using fs.watch and fs.watchFile for watching, it normalizes the events it receives, often checking for truth by getting file stats and/or dir contents.

    Commander.js

    Commander.js

    node.js command-line interfaces made easy

The complete solution for node.js command-line interfaces. Commander exports a global object which is convenient for quick programs. For larger programs which may use commander in multiple ways, including unit testing, it is better to create a local Command object to use. Each option can have a short flag (single character) and a long name, separated by a comma or space or vertical bar ('|'). Multiple short flags may optionally be combined in a single argument following the dash: boolean flags, followed by a single option taking a value (possibly followed by the value). You may specify a function to do custom processing of option-arguments. The callback function receives two parameters, the user specified option-argument and the previous value for the option. It returns the new value for the option. This allows you to coerce the option-argument to the desired type, or accumulate values, or do entirely custom processing.

    Comprehensive Rust

    Comprehensive Rust

This is the Rust course used by the Android team at Google

Comprehensive Rust is an open source training course developed by Google to provide a complete introduction to the Rust programming language. Originally created for Google engineers, it has since been released publicly for the broader developer community. The course is structured into modular lessons that cover the fundamentals of Rust, including ownership, lifetimes, traits, generics, and error handling, before progressing to advanced topics like concurrency, async programming, unsafe Rust, and FFI. It is designed to be taught in classroom settings but can also be followed independently, making it useful both for structured training and self-study. The materials are presented in a slide-based format with accompanying examples and hands-on exercises to reinforce key concepts. By offering an accessible yet thorough introduction, the course helps learners gain practical experience with Rust while building a strong understanding of its unique safety and performance guarantees.

    Configure your Node.js Applications

    Configure your Node.js Applications

    Node.js application configuration

Node-config organizes hierarchical configurations for your app deployments. It lets you define a set of default parameters, and extend them for different deployment environments (development, qa, staging, production, etc.). Configurations are stored in configuration files within your application, and can be overridden and extended by environment variables, command line parameters, or external sources. This gives your application a consistent configuration interface shared among a growing list of npm modules also using node-config. config.get() will throw an exception for undefined keys to help catch typos and missing values. Use config.has() to test if a configuration value is defined. Running in this configuration, the port and dbName elements of dbConfig will come from the default.json file, and the host element will come from the production.json override file.

    Conventional Changelog

    Conventional Changelog

Generate changelogs and release notes from a project's commit messages

The conventional-changelog repo is managed as a monorepo; it's composed of many npm packages. It's recommended you use the high-level standard-version library, which is a drop-in replacement for npm's version command, handling automated version bumping, tagging, and CHANGELOG generation. Alternatively, if you'd like to move towards completely automating your release process as an output from CI/CD, consider using semantic-release. We specifically limit our support to LTS versions of Node, not because this package won't work on other versions, but because we have a limited amount of time, and supporting LTS offers the greatest return on that investment. It's possible this package will work correctly on newer versions of Node. It may even be possible to use this package on older versions of Node, though that's more unlikely as we'll make every effort to take advantage of features available in the oldest LTS version we support.

    Day.js

    Day.js

Fast, immutable 2kB alternative to Moment.js with the same modern API

Day.js is a fast, immutable, minimalist JavaScript library for parsing, validating, manipulating, and displaying dates and times for modern browsers. Its API is largely compatible with that of Moment.js, so if you know how to use Moment.js you’ll know how to use Day.js. Why opt for Day.js? Because it’s at just 2kB it involves less JavaScript to download, parse and execute, and more time for your code. Day.js is also immutable, chainable and has great support for internationalization. It currently supports all browsers.
