I'm not planning any 3D objects (except walls and static map objects), all entities are sprites with original textures + some modified or added. A protein contact matrix is 2D representation of the distances between amino acid residues in a 3D protein structure. Protein Contact Map Generator (PCMGen) is a command line tool which takes protein 3D structures (PDB format files) as input and computes contact distances between two chains (from single or two different proteins). These matrix files can be further visualised as Contact Maps using other visualization tools/ programs (like R-heatmaps). -

This software is designed to facilitate the hobby of launching and tracking down weather balloons by the plotting of a GPS's location on Google Earth, via the NMEA format. As a bonus this software will predict an airborne balloon payload using U.S. weather sounding data and take many variables into account. GPSPS also allows multiple plots to be active at once. Input should follow the NMEA format, currently only GPRMC or GPGGA NMEA messages are supported. -

...It reads public NORAD satellite database and shows the satellite positions and altitude related to Earth in the form of beams (the height of the beam represents the relative altitude). NOTE: The project has been moved to GitHub: https://github.com/nuald/glSatellite-Demo The old one stays here just for the historical reasons. The 3D features present: - OpenGL ES 2; - rotating, multi-touch zooming and moving the globe; - stars on a fixed background; - each satellite is represented by a beam with a unique color; - identifying the corresponding satellite if a beam has been tapped (based on color picking method). Additionally to 3D features presented the application is: - using NDK with C++11 features compiled by LLVM clang; - mixing Java views with OpenGL views (Java is used for settings activity, information and ads panels); - using Android custom message queue to send asynchronous messages from Java to JNI -
