OpenBot leverages smartphones as brains for low-cost robots. We have designed a small electric vehicle that costs about $50 and serves as a robot body. Our software stack for Android smartphones supports advanced robotics workloads such as person following and real-time autonomous navigation. Current robots are either expensive or make significant compromises on sensory richness, computational power, and communication capabilities. We propose to leverage smartphones to equip robots with extensive sensor suites, powerful computational abilities, state-of-the-art communication channels, and access to a thriving software ecosystem. We design a small electric vehicle that costs $50 and serves as a robot body for standard Android smartphones. We develop a software stack that allows smartphones to use this body for mobile operation and demonstrate that the system is sufficiently powerful to support advanced robotics workloads such as person following and real-time autonomous navigation. -

This is a new code repository for SchemaSpy tool initially created and maintained by John Currier. I personally believe that work on SchemaSpy should be continued, and a lot of still existing issues should be resolved. Last released version of the SchemaSpy was in 2010, and I have a plan to change this. Process of installation is very simple because SchemaSpy is only one Java .jar application. You can learn more read the installation doc. When you environment will be ready, and you can start using SchemaSpy you can read more about the configuration. Browse some sample pages generated by SchemaSpy. Note that this was run against an extremely limited schema so it doesn't show the full power of the tool. -

Pushy is a Java library for sending APNs (iOS, macOS, and Safari) push notifications. Pushy sends push notifications using Apple’s HTTP/2-based APNs protocol and supports both TLS and token-based authentication. It distinguishes itself from other push notification libraries with a focus on thorough documentation, asynchronous operation, and design for industrial-scale operation. With Pushy, it’s easy and efficient to maintain multiple parallel connections to the APNs gateway to send large numbers of notifications to many different applications (“topics”). We believe that Pushy is already the best tool for sending APNs push notifications from Java applications, and we hope you’ll help us make it even better via bug reports and pull requests. Master of Magic - IME

This is a multiplayer client/server java rewrite of Microprose/Simtex's classic DOS turn based strategy game Master of Magic. Latest versions now require Java 25, however since a lot of folks have been having trouble setting this up, I am now providing 2 versions, one with a JRE included in the download, and one without. Beyond this, it should just be as simple as unzipping the file and running server.bat to get the server running locally, and client.bat to start up the client. See the readme for more details. The project is effectively finished at this point and I did not really plan any further major releases. However Simbey has been commissioning an artist to upscale all the graphics from the original game so these have been incorporated into 1.7.0. By default it uses the original graphics, you need to enable the upscaled graphics in the options screen.
