Secure wiping/shredding of free disk space with many methods
WipeFreeSpace is a program to securely erase/wipe/overwrite/shred the free space on file systems WITHOUT DESTROYING EXISTING FILES, to prevent recovery of deleted sensitive data. This allows protecting the user's privacy when e.g. selling the drive or the whole computer. The following filesystems are supported: - Ext2/3/4, - NTFS, - XFS, - ReiserFSv3/4, - FAT12/16/32, - MinixFS1/2, - JFS, - HFS/HFS+, - OCFS. The following wiping methods are supported: Gutmann-like, random, Schneier, DoD. Additionally, WipeFreeSpace can finalize wiping the filesystem by writing blocks of zeros, which is friendly for sparse files, virtual systems and other places where zeroed-out space is not physically allocated. Feign is a Java to HTTP client binder that was built primarily to make writing Java http clients easier. Inspired by previous projects Retrofit, JAXRS-2.0 and WebSocket, Feign was designed to reduce the complexity that is often involved in binding the Denominator uniformly to HTTP APIs, no matter the ReSTfulness. Feign works by processing annotations into a templatized request, to which arguments are applied in a straightforward manner before output. While it may only support text-based APIs, it simplifies system aspects dramatically and makes it much easier to unit test your conversions. Feign makes use of great tools like Jersey and CXF for writing Java clients for ReST or SOAP services. It also lets you write your own code on top of http libraries, and connects your code to http APIs with little overhead. -

The structure of the output, and the data it contains, is fully configurable. The general composite JSON encoders/layouts can be used to output any JSON format/data by configuring them with various JSON providers. The Logstash encoders/layouts are really just extensions of the general composite JSON encoders/layouts with a pre-defined set of providers. The logstash encoders/layouts are easier to configure if you want to use the standard logstash version 1 output format.
