    EnvFile

    EnvFile

EnvFile 3.x is a plugin for JetBrains IDEs

Env File is a plugin for JetBrains IDEs that allows you to set environment variables for your run configurations from one or multiple files. Not all run configurations available in IDEA-based IDEs are implemented similarly. Some of them differ significantly. In certain cases (so far, only Gradle has been confirmed) the implementation exposes interfaces to integrate the EnvFile UI but doesn't provide interfaces for it to actually make its work. Luckily, it was possible to make few assumptions about IDEA's internal implementation and make it work. Such integration is very fragile and it's not immediately clear if it will affect any existing integrations and when it will break. For that reason there is a special option to Enable Experimental Integrations that can be enabled when desired and should prevent other integrations from breaking.

    JMX Exporter

    JMX Exporter

A process for exposing JMX Beans via HTTP for Prometheus consumption

JMX to Prometheus exporter: a collector that can configurable scrape and expose mBeans of a JMX target. This exporter is intended to be run as a Java Agent, exposing a HTTP server and serving metrics of the local JVM. It can be also run as a standalone HTTP server and scrape remote JMX targets, but this has various disadvantages, such as being harder to configure and being unable to expose process metrics (e.g., memory and CPU usage). Running the exporter as a Java agent is strongly encouraged.

    Java JWT

    Java JWT

Java implementation of JSON Web Token (JWT)

A Java implementation of JSON Web Token (JWT) - RFC 7519. This library requires Java 8 or higher. The last version that supported Java 7 was 3.11.0. The library implements JWT Verification and Signing using several algorithms. The Algorithm defines how a token is signed and verified. It can be instantiated with the raw value of the secret in the case of HMAC algorithms, or the key pairs or KeyProvider in the case of RSA and ECDSA algorithms. Once created, the instance is reusable for token signing and verification operations. When using RSA or ECDSA algorithms and you just need to sign JWTs you can avoid specifying a Public Key by passing a null value. The same can be done with the Private Key when you just need to verify JWTs.

    Karate

    Karate

    Test automation made simple

Karate is the only open-source tool to combine API test-automation, mocks, performance-testing and even UI automation into a single, unified framework. The BDD syntax popularized by Cucumber is language-neutral, and easy for even non-programmers. Assertions and HTML reports are built-in, and you can run tests in parallel for speed. There’s also a cross-platform stand-alone executable for teams not comfortable with Java. You don’t have to compile code. Just write tests in a simple, readable syntax, carefully designed for HTTP, JSON, GraphQL and XML. And you can mix API and UI test-automation within the same test script. A Java API also exists for those who prefer to programmatically integrate Karate’s rich automation and data-assertion capabilities. It is worth pointing out that JSON is a ‘first class citizen’ of the syntax such that you can express payload and expected data without having to use double-quotes and without having to enclose JSON field names in quotes.

    LeetCode Book

    LeetCode Book

Comprehensive study guide for coding interviews

LeetCode-Book is a comprehensive study guide for coding interviews that consolidates algorithm patterns, data-structure templates, and worked LeetCode solutions. It organizes problems by topic—arrays, linked lists, stacks/queues, trees/graphs, dynamic programming, greedy, backtracking, and math—so you can study systematically. Explanations are concise but intentional, highlighting why a pattern fits, how to reason about boundary cases, and the time/space trade-offs. Many entries include template code and “swap-in” variations, helping you recognize how the same technique adapts across similar problems. The book also emphasizes problem-solving habits like deriving invariants, choosing appropriate data structures, and verifying with small counterexamples. It’s suitable for newcomers building fundamentals and for experienced engineers polishing timing and correctness under interview pressure.

    Pkl

    Pkl

A configuration as code language with rich validation and tooling

pkl is a purpose-built configuration-as-code language developed by Apple that combines declarative structure, validation, and tooling to improve over traditional configuration formats like JSON, YAML, or Plists. Its goal is to let you write configuration logic (modules, imports, conditions, defaults) while still producing static outputs suitable for tools that expect JSON, YAML, or other formats. Configurations in Pkl are type-safe and support validation constraints (e.g. bounds, relations) so many errors can be caught before deployment. The language is embeddable, meaning it can run inside applications (Java, Swift, Go, etc.) to load configuration dynamically with the same safety guarantees. There’s also code generation support: writing Pkl modules can generate matching classes or data structures in target languages (Swift, Go, Java, Kotlin) so runtime config and statically typed code stay in sync.

SchemaCrawler is a free database schema discovery and comprehension tool. SchemaCrawler has a good mix of useful features for data governance. You can search for database schema objects using regular expressions, and output the schema and data in a readable text format. The output serves for database documentation, and is designed to be diff-ed against other database schemas. SchemaCrawler also generates schema diagrams. You can execute scripts in any standard scripting language against your database. You can find potential schema design issues with lint. SchemaCrawler supports almost any database that has a JDBC driver, but for convenience is bundled with drivers for some commonly used RDBMS systems. SchemaCrawler works with any operating system that supports Java SE 8 or better. SchemaCrawler is also a Java API that makes working with database metadata as easy as working with plain old Java objects.

    Starlight Fabric

    Starlight Fabric

Rewrites the light engine to fix lighting performance

Starlight is a performance optimization project for Minecraft that completely rewrites the game’s internal lighting engine to improve efficiency and reduce lighting-related lag. The original Minecraft lighting system can be computationally expensive when generating terrain or updating large structures, which can cause performance problems on servers and heavily modded environments. Starlight replaces this system with a redesigned algorithm that processes lighting calculations more efficiently and reduces the number of updates required for each chunk. The project aims to improve chunk generation performance, reduce lag spikes, and eliminate certain lighting bugs that occur in the vanilla engine. Because it fundamentally replaces the default lighting system, Starlight can significantly improve performance on servers handling large numbers of block updates or terrain generation tasks.

    WebDriverManager

    WebDriverManager

Automated driver management and helper features for Selenium WebDriver

WebDriverManager is an open-source Java library that carries out the management (i.e., download, setup, and maintenance) of the drivers required by Selenium WebDriver (e.g., chromedriver, geckodriver, msedgedriver, etc.) in a fully automated manner. In addition, WebDriverManager provides other relevant features, such as the capability to discover browsers installed in the local system, building WebDriver objects (such as ChromeDriver, FirefoxDriver, EdgeDriver, etc.), and running browsers in Docker containers seamlessly. The primary use of WebDriverManager is the automation of driver management. For using this feature, you need to select a given manager in the WebDriverManager API (e.g., chromedriver() for Chrome) and invoke the method setup(). The following example shows the skeleton of a test case using JUnit 5, Selenium WebDriver, and WebDriverManager.

    jdbc2csv.jar

    Command-line sql JDBC tool

jdbc2csv is a small command-line tool written in JAVA and can be used on all platforms, for which JRE 8 or higher is available. To connect to a specific DBMS the tool uses its JDBC driver. The result of the executed 'select' query is displayed in CSV format ( different standards are supported ). When there is an error the tool stops with exit code 1 and the error message is output on stderr. jdbc2csv is created with a main purpose to be used in shell-scripts. Relatively easy to configurate, this tool is suitable for queries ‘select’, ‘update’ and ‘delete’. I think that is not suitable for a large number of requests, like 'insert'.
