Mobilinux - Linux for Android
This application will allow you to install and run Linux on Android !
The app supports ROOTED as well as NOROOTED devices. Use your mobile as a Pocket PC !! For Root Method: The application creates a disk image on a flash card, mounts it and installs an OS distribution. Applications of the new system are run in a chroot environment and working together with the Android platform. All changes made on the device are reversible, i.e. the application and components can be removed completely. Installation of a distribution is done by downloading files from official mirrors online over the internet. The application requires superuser rights (ROOT).Installing a new operating system takes about 15 minutes. The recommended minimum size of a disk image is 1024 MB (with LXDE), and without a GUI - 512 MB. Noroot Method: Install MOBICONSOLE addon and then install the linux on a non-rooted phone. -

On-Screen Protractor is a simple java application that allows to measure an angle on the screen. Originally the program was conceived to assess the angle between north and a given point on any map open on the screen, therefore the background of the application window is transparent and the angle is measured from the positive y-axis and clockwise. Datahike is a durable Datalog database powered by an efficient Datalog query engine. This project started as a port of DataScript to the hitchhiker-tree. All DataScript tests are passing, but we are still working on the internals. Having said this we consider Datahike usable for medium sized projects, since DataScript is very mature and deployed in many applications and the hitchhiker-tree implementation is heavily tested through generative testing. We are building on the two projects and the storage backends for the hitchhiker-tree through konserve. We would like to hear experience reports and are happy if you join us. We provide a small stable API for the JVM at the moment, but the on-disk schema is not fixed yet. We will provide a migration guide until we have reached a stable on-disk schema. Take a look at the ChangeLog before upgrading. -

FarPlaneTwo is an experimental open-source Minecraft mod that introduces a Level-of-Detail (LoD) terrain rendering system designed to dramatically extend how far players can visually see across the game world. Instead of rendering distant terrain using the same detailed chunk system as nearby areas, the mod generates simplified representations of terrain that require far fewer resources to display. This approach allows players to view landscapes at extremely large distances while maintaining acceptable performance levels. The project aims to support render distances far beyond the limits of the standard Minecraft engine, potentially reaching hundreds of thousands or even millions of blocks. By creating progressively lower-detail versions of terrain farther from the player, the mod can display the shape and structure of distant regions without fully loading those chunks. -

Muon is a graphical SSH client. It has an enhanced SFTP file browser, SSH terminal emulator, remote resource/process manager, server disk space analyzer, remote text editor, huge remote log viewer, and lots of other helpful tools, which makes it easy to work with remote servers. Muon provides functionality similar to web-based control panels but, it works over SSH from the local computer, hence no installation is required on the server. It runs on Linux and Windows. Muon has been tested with several Linux and UNIX servers, like Ubuntu server, CentOS, RHEL, OpenSUSE, FreeBSD, OpenBSD, NetBSD, and HP-UX. The application is targeted mainly towards web/backend developers who often deploy/debug their code on remote servers and not overly fond of complex terminal-based commands. -
