xBook is a common framework for several archaeo-related database applications developed and published by Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich. All database applications that are based on the framework (called Books) provide the same basic technical features, but each application can be extended individually. Especially the Synchronisation and the User Rights Management are strong features that allow creating backups and sharing your data to collaborate with other users. The Synchronisation is the base for future cross-application similarity searches involving all available Books. -

EDT Basic stores only String values, while EDTA uses EDT Basic to store String, int, boolean, float, long, double, and byte values. To make accessing values easier, EDT and EDTA allow you to assign a name, like "FileLocation", to a value, instead of an integer, like in an array. The values are stored as ISO-8859-1 Strings. -

The TextProcessor Java package is a text processing toolkit, which provides some frequently used text processing functions such as stemming, removing stop-words, generating a term vocabulary, and calculating the term-doc frequency matrix. Basic topic mining models such as LDA and sparse NMF are also supported. The package can also generate feature files from a given text dataset with LDA and LIBSVM format for posterior procedures such as classification or clustering. The toolkit is also being extended for more advanced text analysis tasks based on natural language processing techniques. -
