    TAP — The Aqua Project

    A passive planet awaits one terribly impending water scarcity.

    Application's theme is "water supply", referring to water crises, which have historically plagued civilizations. The TAP app seeks to: i- help human beings in quickly obtaining water for their diverse needs; and ii- promote rational and conscious use of water resources. Essentially motivated by an imminent threat in the city where I live, São Paulo, the TAP software intends to connect people who need water to the parts able to quickly provide it, such as water tank trucks. It is the offer of an additional way to avoid houses' tanks running out of water. TAP is sensor‑driven, e.g.: acting when a critical level is reached, providing people with alternative water supply from tank trucks nearby. On the other side, trucks have their logistics optimized, once their status information is shared. It is assumed a scenario with more than a thousand tank trucks, all of them equipped with GPS devices.
