vue-resource is a plugin for Vue.js which provides services for making web requests and handle responses using a XMLHttpRequest or JSONP. You can install it via yarn or NPM. Available on jsdelivr, unpkg or cdnjs. Typescript for vue-resource should work out of the box since the type definition files are included within the npm package. The http service can be used globally Vue.http or in a Vue instance this.$http. A Vue instance provides the this.$http service which can send HTTP requests. A request method call returns a Promise that resolves to the response. Also the Vue instance will be automatically bound to this in all function callbacks. Shortcut methods are available for all request types. These methods work globally or in a Vue instance. The Recipes provide code examples to common use-cases. Milkman
An extensible request/response workbench
Milkman is heavily inspired by Postman. But I got sick of all those electron-based applications that need ages and loads of memory to start up. Therefore, this is a JavaFx-based workbench for crafting requests/responses. It is not limited to e.g. HTTP (or more specifically rest) requests. Due to nearly everything being a plugin, other things are possible, like database requests or GRPC, GraphQl, etc. Request-types (e.g. Http Request), request-aspects (e.g. Headers, Body, etc), editors for request aspects (e.g. table-based editors for headers), importers, whatever it is, you can extend it. The core application only handles Workspaces with Environments, Collections, Requests, and their aspects. master is the active development branch and contains v2 code, for the stable v1 release (though it was once called v2.0), please refer to v1.0 branch. goflyway v2 is a special tool to forward local ports to a remote server securely, just like ssh -L. goflyway uses pure HTTP POST requests to relay TCP connections. There is no CONNECT involved nor needed because goflyway is designed mainly for those people who are behind a CONNECT-less HTTP proxy or want to accelerate connections through static CDNs. However pure HTTP requesting is definitely a waste of bandwidth if you already have a better network environment, so use -w to turn on WebSocket relay, or -K to turn on KCP relay if possible. In HTTP mode when the server received some data it can't just send them to the client directly because HTTP is not bi-directional, instead, the server must wait until the client requests them, which means these data will be stored in memory for some time. -

Setting this will override all existing search parameters in the input URL. After prefixUrl and input are joined, the result is resolved against the base URL of the page (if any). The hook can return a Request to replace the outgoing request, or return a Response to completely avoid making an HTTP request. This can be used to mock a request, check an internal cache, etc. An important consideration when returning a request or response from this hook is that any remaining beforeRequest hooks will be skipped. -

Waitress is meant to be a production-quality pure-Python WSGI server with very acceptable performance. It has no dependencies except ones which live in the Python standard library. It runs on CPython on Unix and Windows under Python 3.7+. It is also known to run on PyPy 3 (python version 3.7+) on UNIX. It supports HTTP/1.0 and HTTP/1.1. Waitress now validates that chunked encoding extensions are valid, and don't contain invalid characters that are not allowed. They are still skipped/not processed, but if they contain invalid data we no longer continue in and return a 400 Bad Request. This stops potential HTTP desync/HTTP request smuggling. -
