smartmontools contains utility programs (smartctl, smartd) to control/monitor storage systems using the Self-Monitoring, Analysis and Reporting Technology System (S.M.A.R.T.) built into most modern ATA and SCSI disks. It is derived from smartsuite.

Barrier is a software that works just like a KVM (keyboard, video and mouse) switch, which allows you to use a single mouse and keyboard to control several different computers by physically turning a dial on the box to switch the machine you're controlling at any given time. Barrier is able to do this in software, giving you control over different machines by simply moving your mouse to the edge of the screen, or by using a keypress to switch focus to a different system. Barrier was built to be simple and reliable, allowing you to control a different machine by simply using your mouse and keyboard from another. It works on all major operating systems (Linux, Windows, MacOS/OS X), including FreeBSD and OpenBSD.

This project was originally designed to provide an open-source replacement for PPJoy. The product, at this point, consists of virtual joystick devices that is seen by the system as a standard joystick but its position-data is written to it by a feeder application. An existing feeder application that takes advantage of this product is SmartPropoPlus. If you are an application writer you can very easily write an application that controls a joystick (e.g. mouse-to-joystick, keyboard-to-joystick). If you are a beginner in device drivers you can take this code and enhance it to support more (or less) axes, buttons or POVs.

ESP8266 Arduino Core is the Arduino core for the ESP8266 WiFi chip. This project provides an open source MacOS v10.14+ (Mojave and above) compatible CoreMIDI Universal 64 bit device driver for M-Audio's MIDISPORT range of USB MIDI interfaces. SnapKey is a lightweight, open-source tool that operates from the system tray and is designed to track inputs from the WASD keys, without interfering with any game files. This firmware allows not only to have a cheap bridge between Wifi and serial, but also to have a web UI to configure wifi, to monitor 3D printer and even control it, and to make things easy, UI is fully customizable without reflashing FW. Firmware should work with any 3D printer firmware (repetier/marlin/smoothie ware using GCODE) if the serial connection has a correct setup. I currently use it with my personal flavor of repetier for Due based boards. The web interface files are present in the data directory but UI has its own repository ESP3D-WEBUI. Use GPIO2 to the ground to reset all settings in a hard way, 2-6 sec after boot / not before!! Set GPIO2 to ground before boot change boot mode and go to special boot that do not reach FW. Currently, boot takes 10 sec - giving 8 seconds to connect GPIO2 to GND and do a hard recovery for settings. Complete configuration by web browser (Station or Access point) or by Serial/telnet commands.

ATTENTION: This project is not maintained anymore. Current Macs properly manage temperature and fans. Speed fan controller and temp monitoring for MacBook Pro Unibody (Nvidia) for Windows under BootCamp. It allows to control MacBook fans speeds depending on the CPU and GPU temperature. ATTENTION: This program is designed and tested only on MacBook Pro with NVIDIA GPU. On newer MacBooks with ATI GPU the GPU temperature is not checked. On iMacs some sensors and fans are not used. In any case USE AT YOUR OWN RISK, I'm not responsible for overheating or hardware damage.
