Agar provides a base GUI framework and a standard set of widgets from which graphical applications can be built which run natively under X11, Windows, MacOS, SDL and others. It takes advantage of texture and GPU acceleration wherever available. Agar can also attach to an existing framebuffer, SDL or OpenGL context and operate as a self-contained window-manager. Netpbm2Gimp automatically compiles the unmodified source code of a Netpbm graphics program into a GIMP plug-in. The result looks and functions like any other GIMP plug-in although it takes much less effort to produce than a hand-coded GIMP plug-in.

Cvsplot is a perl script which analyses the history of a CVS-managed project. The script executes on a set of files, analyses their history, and automatically generates graphs that plot lines of code and number of files against time.
