Adele was developed to simplify the daily work with data. Use it as a swiss knife to fill the gap between your work with spreadsheet application like MS Excel and enterprise servers like SAP ERP. Specialized tools like Rapid Miner, KNIME or similiary stuff should not be replaced. But Adele is designed for business people working with spreadsheet applications to analyse their data. SchemaSpy analyzes database metadata to reverse engineer dynamic Entity Relationship (ER) diagrams. It works with just about any JDBC-compliant database (Oracle/MySQL/DB2/SQL Server/PostgreSQL/Sybase/etc) and can identify Ruby on Rails relationships.

SQLObject is an object-relational mapper for Python. It supports MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQLite, Firebird, MaxDB/SapDB, MS SQL and Sybase. It supports Python versions back to 2.7.

jdbc2csv is a small command-line tool written in JAVA and can be used on all platforms, for which JRE 8 or higher is available. To connect to a specific DBMS the tool uses its JDBC driver. The result of the executed 'select' query is displayed in CSV format ( different standards are supported ). When there is an error the tool stops with exit code 1 and the error message is output on stderr. jdbc2csv is created with a main purpose to be used in shell-scripts. Relatively easy to configurate, this tool is suitable for queries ‘select’, ‘update’ and ‘delete’. I think that is not suitable for a large number of requests, like 'insert'.
