There are many reasons why you’d want a proxy server such as security and performance. Athens is a project building on top of vgo (or go1.11+) trying to bring dependencies closer to you so you can count on repeatable builds even at a time when VCS is down. The big goal of Athens is to provide a new place where dependencies — not code — live. Dependencies are immutable blobs of code and associated metadata that come from Github. They live in storage that Athens controls. You probably already know what “immutable” means, but let me just point it out again because it’s really important for this whole system. When folks change their packages, iterate, experiment, or whatever else, code on Athens won’t change. -

Benthos is a high performance and resilient stream processor, able to connect various sources and sinks in a range of brokering patterns and perform hydration, enrichments, transformations and filters on payloads. It comes with a powerful mapping language, is easy to deploy and monitor, and ready to drop into your pipeline either as a static binary, docker image, or serverless function, making it cloud native as heck. Delivery guarantees can be a dodgy subject. Benthos processes and acknowledges messages using an in-process transaction model with no need for any disk persisted state, so when connecting to at-least-once sources and sinks it's able to guarantee at-least-once delivery even in the event of crashes, disk corruption, or other unexpected server faults. This behaviour is the default and free of caveats, which also makes deploying and scaling Benthos much simpler. -

It’s heavily influenced by Cash App’s Broadway architecture (talked about at Droidcon NYC, also very derived from our conversations with them). -

Clair
Vulnerability Static Analysis for Containers
Clair is an application for parsing image contents and reporting vulnerabilities affecting the contents. This is done via static analysis and not at runtime. Clair v4 utilizes the ClairCore library as its engine for examining contents and reporting vulnerabilities. At a high level you can consider Clair a service wrapper to the functionality provided in the ClairCore library. The main branch may be in an unstable or even broken state during development. Please use releases instead of the main branch in order to get stable binaries. Clair is an open source project for the static analysis of vulnerabilities in application containers (currently including OCI and docker). Clients use the Clair API to index their container images and can then match it against known vulnerabilities. Our goal is to enable a more transparent view of the security of container-based infrastructure. Thus, the project was named Clair after the French term which translates to clear, bright, transparent. -

Connexion is a framework on top of Flask that automagically handles HTTP requests defined using OpenAPI (formerly known as Swagger), supporting both v2.0 and v3.0 of the specification. Connexion allows you to write these specifications, then maps the endpoints to your Python functions. This is what makes it unique from other tools that generate the specification based on your Python code. You are free to describe your REST API with as much detail as you want and then Connexion guarantees that it will work as you specified. We built Connexion this way in order to simplify the development process. Reduce misinterpretation about what an API is going to look like. With Connexion, you write the spec first. Connexion then calls your Python code, handling the mapping from the specification to the code. This incentivizes you to write the specification so that all of your developers can understand what your API does, even before you write a single line of code. -

This extension enables you to store the periodic task schedule in the database. The periodic tasks can be managed from the Django Admin interface, where you can create, edit and delete periodic tasks and how often they should run. Usage and installation instructions for this extension are available from the Celery documentation. If you change the Django TIME_ZONE setting your periodic task schedule will still be based on the old timezone. To create a periodic task executing at an interval you must first create the interval object. If you have multiple periodic tasks executing every 10 seconds, then they should all point to the same schedule object. -
