Open-source tool to access Amazon S3 file storage. S3cmd is a free command line tool and client for uploading, retrieving and managing data in Amazon S3 and other cloud storage service providers that use the S3 protocol, such as Google Cloud Storage. Lots of features and options have been added to s3cmd since its very first release in 2008.... we recently counted more than 60 command line options, including multipart uploads, encryption, incremental backup, s3 sync, ACL and Metadata management, S3 bucket size, bucket policies, and more!

Ansible playbooks for Ceph, the distributed filesystem. This project assumes you have a basic knowledge of how Ansible works and have already prepared your hosts for configuration by Ansible. After you’ve cloned the ceph-ansible repository, selected your branch and installed Ansible then you’ll need to create your inventory file, playbook and configuration for your Ceph cluster. The Ansible inventory file defines the hosts in your cluster and what roles each host plays in your Ceph cluster. The default location for an inventory file is /etc/ansible/hosts but this file can be placed anywhere and used with the -i flag of ansible-playbook. You must have a playbook to pass to the ansible-playbook command when deploying your cluster. There is a sample playbook at the root of the ceph-ansible project called site.yml.sample. This playbook should work fine for most usages, but it does include by default every daemon group which might not be appropriate for your cluster setup.

Sorter makes file organisation and management easier by helping you organise several files that contain similar characteristics into a single folder, with a few clicks. You can put all letters documents into one folder, all images with the word home into another, all music by one artist in yet another folder, etc. Sorter organises these files into folders which are grouped according to one or more of the following patterns: a common word in the file names, the file type/format, a custom name and the category of the file formats.

Short copying time. Copies only modified and/or newly created files. For both above options one can either Specify the Source and Destination folders OR Specify 2 folders (the roots of the Source and Destination folder systems) and run Jeeva from a folder somewhere below the source root. Will take that folder to be the source, will look for a corresponding folder under DestinationRoot to be destination.

USB resetting is the closest equivalent to physically unplugging and re-plugging a USB device. you might ask , How is that useful ? well the use cases will be different from user to another. In my case, it helps with accessing my slightly damaged old USB external hard drive after a mount in unix-like OSes without any i/o issues. Another one is, loop resetting my USB headset solves some weird glitching sound i constantly have while using them. Those are my special use cases. There most be more, that it can help with.

AmsdosFS is an implementation for Linux of Amsdos filesystem used on Amstrad CPC computers. It is written in Python and uses module Fuse Python to mount DSK images.

dracxterm is a terminal for Android. Open it and a shell is waiting. If you want a full Linux, the app can install Debian 13 or Kali inside its own storage, and you work as you would on a computer. The phone does not need root, and there is no account to create. The terminal draws colours and keeps scrollback, so full-screen programs like nano and htop look right. UTF-8 text displays properly, CJK included. You get five workspaces, each with its own shell and history, plus an extra key row for Ctrl, Alt, Esc and the arrows. Type xset to open the settings. They live inside the terminal and change as you slide them. Inside the distro, sudo, su and apt work as usual, and dpkg installs .deb packages. Every download is checked before anything is unpacked. In 1.0.6, Kali opens all the way to a prompt, and package installs on Kali Full finish. No ads and no trackers. Nothing is sent to the developer, and it goes online only when you ask for a download.

This is a python based UI application that can rename a part of a set of files inside a directory based on the provided regular expression. This gives a lot more flexibility compared to other renaming files since it used grouping principle. This had two level of applying the rename, first stage shows who it will be when you rename it, if you are fine with the change you can make it permanent by clicking commit. This avoid the risk of file getting corrupted. To rename all .py file to .pyc is as follows: Search for Regex: (.py)$ Rename using this regex: .pyw
