You can create as many synch configs as you please. Each synch config specifies a number of data sources, a number of schedulers. Each scheduler determines when the data sources must be checked for synchronization. Each data storage source represents a hierarchical (file system ...) or other type of data storage medium. lecithine

FUSE File system powered by secret sharing scheme

Lecithine is a FUSE (file system in user space) using a secret sharing scheme. You can use Lecithine as regular file system. When writing to disk, data will be devided into randomly chosen pieces (secret shares) and stored into different places. Upon reading, the shares are merged together such that in turn the plaintext results. From a cryptographers point of view, there is no symmetric or private key ever needed to produce a ciphertext. This is how secret sharing schemes are designed.

    XTVFS Reader

C++ classes and application to read XTVFS and FAT32 file system images

C++ classes and sample Qt application to read XTVFS and FAT32 file system images. The XTV file system is used on PVR, e.g. Sky+, to store recorded programmes. The class library can be used to copy unencrypted (i.e. free-to-air) programmes from a disk image. I wanted to extract a recorded program and I was not able to find an open-source tool that could, or even a programming library for accessing xtvfs, so I wrote one. I am calling this alpha as I only wrote it for myself and while it...

    fmstream

    fmstream

Read-write access to memory-mapped files on Windows and POSIX systems

fmstream provides an interface to read data from memory-mapped files as input/output streams. File mapping is the association of a file's contents with a portion of the virtual address space of a process. The system creates a file mapping object (also known as a section object) to maintain this association. A file view is the portion of virtual address space that a process uses to access the file's contents. File mapping allows the process to use both random input and output (I/O) and...

a FUSE filesystem for mounting database tables as text files

The program `sql2textfs` is a custom file system based on FUSE that lets the user mount a database and view all its tables as files of a directory of the filesystem in a POSIX system. The databased tables are viewed as files but in a specific format: All table entries are converted into lines in a file of text. Columns are separated by tab, so all the data of the table is in a tab-delimited text file. The file format is a form of CSV format. The table header is in the first line of the file....
