iTag
Tag images using various categories and modifiers
iTag has been designed for researchers that rely on photographic census techniques of animals that are hard to detect via image recognition algorithms and was originally developed for counting Grey Seals in the German wadden sea during March 2013. It has since then been further expanded and has now reached beta status. iTag allows Users to define up to 9 different categories and name them accordingly. In addition, 4 modifiers are available to further increase the options during a tagging session. Users are able to load a series of Images into a session and add tags on objects on these images within previously defined categories and modifiers. Upon ending the session, result files are produced including (if provided by the EXIF data) the gps information for each Picture, the number of objects in each category and a detailed result file that describes each individual object. In addition, all images that were tagged are saved. -

Analyzing amplicon data from sequences to stats
This is a collection of scripts and instructions on how to analyzing amplicon sequence data (i.e., 16S, ITS2, & other marker genes). I created this workflow to create a consistent set of methods for analyzing amplicon sequence data, from when you first receive the sequence data to statistical analyses & data visualization. All you need is to have the latest version of R installed, some experience with the command line & shell, and enough memory to run all of the programs. There are also instructions provided in case you are running these analyses via a computing cluster/Slurm workload manager. You can choose to go through the workflow using either an Rmd script, an html file, or a PDF, or via the homepage link provided. If you have questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out. BEAST
BEAST is a tool dedicated to assess political goals of woody bioenergy
The BioEnergy Allocation and Simulation Tool (BEAST) is a tool dedicated to assess political goals of woody bioenergy production in the context of available biomass potentials and corresponding economic and ecological criteria on a regional level. It is a useful tool in participative decision making processes by iterative simulation and visualization of complex issues. BEAST is a data- and model-driven Decision Support System (DSS) evaluating woody biomass potentials from forests, hedges and trees outside forests as well as short rotation coppice (SRC). The latter one is modelled spatially explicit. This opens the possibility to identify prefered areas for SRC production under different restrictions and goals. Forest wood and wood from outside forests are treated only aggregated. -

Export data from "binary" to "data" .csv from TMS compatible loggers
A script to export / convert data from a "binary" .csv to a "data" .csv file for TOMST TMS model 91, 92 and 94 compatible loggers. If some data has been not correctly exported using the TOMST Lolly software, this script will be able to recover all the data saved in the "binary" .csv file and save it as a "data" .csv file. Simply select all the "binary" files you want to export the information from and the data will be exported to corresponding "data" .csv files. Tested on a handful "binary" .csv files from 91, 92 and 94-type TMS loggers. -

CDPOPgui is a GUI Frontend for CDPOP What is CDPOP? CDPOP (Cost Distance POPulations) is a spatially-explicit simulator of gene-flow in complex landscapes to explain observed population responses and provide a foundation for landscape genetics. The program implements individual-based population modeling with Mendelian inheritance on a resistant landscape. Simulation begins with an initial homogeneous population and followed by divergence through time as functions of individual based movement, breeding and dispersal on a continuous cost surface.
