    proex gpr control

Mala ProEx and Easy Locator GPR control software

Reverse engineered communication protocol for the Mala ProEx and Easy Locator GPR implemented as a CLI & GUI running on unix systems. The communication protocol was ported to a graphical user interface applicable to embedded systems through the use of the Qt toolkit (tested on Armadeus Systems APF27 board). The GUI includes GPS datalogging capability assuming a receiver providing NMEA sentences at 4800 bauds is connected to the host computer. Because the software requires access to the raw socket communication, it must be run with administration (root) privileges. A dedicated mode for sensor reading through the wireless GPR link is implemented through 2 separate time-windows, one for subsurface structure analysis and the other for sensor signal recording. ...

    PCRaster

    PCRaster environmental modeling software

Note: Active projects have been copied to Github: https://github.com/pcraster News, project information, documentation and more are available at http://www.pcraster.eu PCRaster is a collection of tools and software libraries tailored to the construction of spatio-temporal environmental models. Application domains are amongst others hydrology (rainfall-runoff, global water balance, groundwater (with Modflow)), ecology, or land use change. Two scripting languages (PCRcalc and Python) include a rich set of spatial operations for manipulating and analysing raster maps. A Python framework supports Monte Carlo simulations and data assimilation (Ensemble Kalman Filter and Particle Filter). The Aguila tool allows for the interactive visualisation of stochastic spatio-temporal data.

    Fuzzy Ecospace Modelling

    Fuzzy Ecospace Modelling

FEM allows users to create fuzzy functional groups for use in ecology.

Fuzzy Ecospace Modelling (FEM) is an R-based program for quantifying and comparing functional disparity, using a fuzzy set theory-based machine learning approach. FEM clusters n-dimensional matrices of functional traits (ecospace matrices – here called the Training Matrix) into functional groups and converts them into fuzzy functional groups using fuzzy discriminant analysis (Lin and Chen 2004 – see main text for more information). Following this, FEM classifies the functional entities from...

    GeoGig

Distributed Version Control System for Geospatial data

Welcome to the GeoGig project, exploring the use of distributed management of spatial data. GeoGig draws inspiration from Git, but adapts its core concepts to handle versioning of geospatial data. Users are able to import raw geospatial data (currently from Shapefiles, PostGIS or SpatiaLite) in to a repository where every change to the data is tracked. These changes can be viewed in a history, reverted to older versions, branched in to sandboxed areas, merged back in, and pushed to remote repositories.
