systemd is a suite of basic building blocks for a Linux system. It provides a system and service manager that runs as PID 1 and starts the rest of the system. systemd provides aggressive parallelization capabilities, uses socket and D-Bus activation for starting services, offers on-demand starting of daemons, keeps track of processes using Linux control groups, maintains mount and automount points, and implements an elaborate transactional dependency-based service control logic. systemd supports SysV and LSB init scripts and works as a replacement for sysvinit. Other parts include a logging daemon, utilities to control basic system configuration like the hostname, date, locale, maintain a list of logged-in users and running containers and virtual machines, system accounts, runtime directories and settings, and daemons to manage simple network configuration, network time synchronization, log forwarding, and name resolution.

Vector Pascal is a language targeted at SIMD multi-core instruction-sets such as the AVX and SSE2 or x86-64-v3. It has a SIMD compiler which supports parallel vector operations, loop unrolling, common sub expression removal etc. It is implemented in Java.

CobXRef is a Cobol cross reference tool that reads a Cobol source program and produces a file suitable for printing 'as is' that contains all variables, procedure paragraphs and section names referenced where they are defined as well as where they are used throughout the program or module as well as lists of unreferenced data names and paragraph & section names. it is used as a stand alone program. This version includes the code from printcbl which takes in the copy books when used by any COPY verbs in the source. See the readme file for more info. CMake is an open-source, cross-platform family of tools designed to build, test and package software. CMake is used to control the software compilation process using simple platform and compiler independent configuration files, and generate native makefiles and workspaces that can be used in the compiler environment of your choice. The suite of CMake tools were created by Kitware in response to the need for a powerful, cross-platform build environment for open-source projects such as ITK and VTK. CMake is part of Kitware’s collection of commercially supported open-source platforms for software development and integrates with CDash to provide a comprehensive suite of tools. CDash is the testing server that aggregates, analyzes, and displays the results of software testing processes submitted from clients located around the world.

Amake is a build tool, which adds automatic dependency analysis and target caching to GNU Make.

Solution Editor (eS) is a free, lightweight, cross-platform, development environment (IDE) for Assembler, C or C++ programming, designed to interface with various compilers and debuggers (GDB,CDB). The environment allows you to develop and debug code for MIPS, ARM, AVR and any other processors for embedded solutions and desktop applications. It contains a minimum of settings for easy and convenient programming. The hardware debugging process is possible if you have the hardware and / or software for this purpose.
