...This modified version of the package avoids that error simply by replacing all HTTPS:// designations inside of the install script, With the basic HTTP:// protocol instead. Eliminating the need for the TLS certificates all together. If you are having difficultly installing the ttf-mscorefonts-installer package on Debian.
