This repository is a curated collection of color palettes crafted or curated for data visualization in R. The goal is to provide designers, data scientists, and R users with aesthetically pleasing, perceptually consistent color schemes that work well for plots, maps, and graphics. The repo contains static files listing palette definitions (e.g. hex codes, named hues), sample visualizations showing how each palette performs under different contexts (categorical, sequential, diverging), and helper functions/scripts to import or use the palettes in R. The author also documents palette provenance and usage guidance (contrast, readability, colorblind friendliness). While not a full package in itself, it’s often used as a reference or source of palette definitions for other R plotting or theming packages. -

RISC-V BOOM
SonicBOOM: The Berkeley Out-of-Order Machine
The riscv-boom project (also called BOOM or SonicBOOM) implements a high-performance, synthesizable out-of-order RISC-V core written in the Chisel hardware construction language. It targets the RV64GC (i.e. 64-bit with general + compressed + floating point) instruction set and supports features such as virtual memory, caches, atomics, and IEEE-754 floating point. The design is parameterizable, meaning users can tune pipeline widths, buffer sizes, functional units, and other microarchitectural knobs to explore tradeoffs. It is capable of booting Linux and running standard benchmarks, and its performance (measured in CoreMarks/MHz) is competitive with commercial cores. The project is intended primarily for hardware/architecture research and teaching, rather than production silicon, and typically is used in conjunction with SoC frameworks (for example via Chipyard) to integrate BOOM into larger systems. -

A color generator for JavaScript. There are lots of clever one-liners for generating random colors. Unfortunately, this code naturally produces murky greys, browns and greens. randomColor generates attractive colors by default. More specifically, randomColor produces bright colors with a reasonably high saturation. This makes randomColor particularly useful for data visualizations and generative art. Once you’ve included randomColor.js on your page, calling randomColor() will return a random attractive color. Beneath is the output of randomColor called 54 times. You can also pass an options object to randomColor. This allows you to specify the hue, luminosity and the number of colors to generate. -
