    go-clean-arch

    go-clean-arch

Golang clean architecture based on Reading Uncle Bob's Clean Arch

Independent of Frameworks. The architecture does not depend on the existence of some library of feature-laden software. This allows you to use such frameworks as tools, rather than having to cram your system into their limited constraints. Testable. The business rules can be tested without the UI, Database, Web Server, or any other external element. Independent of UI. The UI can change easily, without changing the rest of the system. A Web UI could be replaced with a console UI, for example, without changing the business rules. Independent of Database. You can swap out Oracle or SQL Server, for Mongo, BigTable, CouchDB, or something else. Your business rules are not bound to the database. Independent of any external agency. In fact your business rules simply don’t know anything at all about the outside world.

    node-pg-migrate

    node-pg-migrate

Node.js database migration management for Postgresql

Node.js database migration management built exclusively for postgres. (But can also be used for other DBs conforming to SQL standard - e.g. CockroachDB.) Started by Theo Ephraim, now maintained by Salsita Software. Installing this module adds a runnable file into your node_modules/.bin directory. If installed globally (with the -g option), you can run node-pg-migrate and if not, you can run ./node_modules/.bin/node-pg-migrate. Add "migrate": "node-pg-migrate" to scripts section of package.json so you are able to quickly run commands. Run npm run migrate create my first migration. It will create file xxx_my-first-migration.js in migrations folder. Now you should put your DB connection string to DATABASE_URL environment variable and run npm run migrate up. (e.g. DATABASE_URL=postgres://test:test@localhost:5432/test npm run migrate up).

    pgstream

    pgstream

    PostgreSQL replication with DDL changes

pgstream is an open source CDC command-line tool and library that offers Postgres replication support with DDL changes to any provided output. One of the main differentiators of pgstream is the fact that it tracks and replicates schema changes automatically. It relies on SQL triggers that will populate a Postgres table (pgstream.schema_log) containing a history log of all DDL changes for a given schema. Whenever a schema change occurs, this trigger creates a new row in the schema log table with the schema encoded as a JSON value. This table tracks all the schema changes, forming a linearised change log that is then parsed and used within the pgstream pipeline to identify modifications and push the relevant changes downstream.

An ultra fast(0.0002s read/write), small & encrypted mobile key-value storage framework for React Native written in C++ using JSI. This library aims to provide a fast & reliable solution for you data storage needs in react-native apps. It uses MMKV by Tencent under the hood on Android and iOS both that is used by their WeChat app(more than 1 Billion users). Unlike other storage solutions for React Native, this library lets you store any kind of data type, in any number of database instances, with or without encryption in a very fast and efficient way. Read about it on this blog post I wrote on dev.to. Starting from v0.5.0 the library has been rewritten in C++ on Android and iOS both. It employs React Native JSI making it the fastest storage option for React Native. MMKV uses mmap to keep memory synced with file, and protobuf to encode/decode values to achieve the best performance.

    rust-rocksdb

    rust-rocksdb

    Rust wrapper for rocksdb

Binding is statically linked with a specific version of RocksDB. If you want to build it yourself, make sure you've also cloned the RocksDB and compression submodules. By default, support for the Snappy, LZ4, Zstd, Zlib, and Bzip2 compression is enabled through crate features. If support for all of these compression algorithms is not needed, default features can be disabled and specific compression algorithms can be enabled. The underlying RocksDB does allow column families to be created and dropped from multiple threads concurrently. But this crate doesn't allow it by default for compatibility. If you need to modify column families concurrently, enable crate feature called multi-threaded-cf, which makes this binding's data structures to use RwLock by default.

    user-event

    user-event

    Simulate user events

Fire events the same way the user does. user-event tries to simulate the real events that would happen in the browser as the user interacts with it. For example userEvent.click(checkbox) would change the state of the checkbox. user-event is a companion library for Testing Library that simulates user interactions by dispatching the events that would happen if the interaction took place in a browser. fireEvent dispatches DOM events, whereas user-event simulates full interactions, which may fire multiple events and do additional checks along the way. Testing Library's built-in fireEvent is a lightweight wrapper around the browser's low-level dispatchEvent API, which allows developers to trigger any event on any element. The problem is that the browser usually does more than just trigger one event for one interaction.
