I will say “it is easy”, let’s make the hget command work as a prefix scanner that scan the whole database.

    pgBackRest aims to be a reliable, easy-to-use backup and restore solution that can seamlessly scale up to the largest databases and workloads by utilizing algorithms that are optimized for database-specific requirements. Compression is usually the bottleneck during backup operations but, even with now-ubiquitous multi-core servers, most database backup solutions are still single-process. pgBackRest solves the compression bottleneck with parallel processing. Utilizing multiple cores for compression makes it possible to achieve 1TB/hr raw throughput even on a 1Gb/s link. More cores and a larger pipe lead to even higher throughput. A custom protocol allows pgBackRest to backup, restore, and archive locally or remotely via TLS/SSH with minimal configuration. An interface to query PostgreSQL is also provided via the protocol layer so that remote access to PostgreSQL is never required, which enhances security.

MySQL InnoDB stats) or custom, deployment-specific (e.g., pricing data freshness). This means you can quickly and easily set up custom collectors to measure data quality, whatever that might mean in your specific case.

In modern data platforms, data is constantly moving between systems, and at the modern data volume and complexity, systems go out of sync all the time. Until now, there has not been any tooling to ensure that when the data is correctly copied. Replicating data at scale, across hundreds of tables, with low latency and at a reasonable infrastructure cost is a hard problem, and most data teams we’ve talked to, have faced data quality issues in their replication processes. The hard truth is that the quality of the replication is the quality of the data. Since copying entire datasets in batch is often infeasible at the modern data scale, businesses rely on the Change Data Capture (CDC) approach of replicating data using a continuous stream of updates.

    Database migrations are written in Go. Use as CLI or import as a library. Migrate reads migrations from sources and applies them in correct order to a database. Drivers are "dumb", migrate glues everything together and makes sure the logic is bulletproof. (Keeps the drivers lightweight, too.) Database drivers don't assume things or try to correct user input. When in doubt, fail. Package migrate reads migrations from sources and runs them against databases. Sources are defined by the `source.Driver` and databases by the `database.Driver` interface.
