    Dragonfly

    Dragonfly

A modern replacement for Redis and Memcached

Dragonfly is a drop-in Redis replacement that cuts costs and boosts performance. Designed to fully utilize the power of modern cloud hardware and deliver on the data demands of modern applications, Dragonfly frees developers from the limits of traditional in-memory data stores. The power of modern cloud hardware can never be realized with legacy software. Dragonfly is optimized for modern cloud computing, delivering 25x more throughput and 12x lower snapshotting latency when compared to legacy in-memory data stores like Redis, making it easy to deliver the real-time experience your customers expect. Scaling Redis workloads is expensive due to their inefficient, single-threaded model. Dragonfly is far more compute and memory efficient, resulting in up to 80% lower infrastructure costs. Dragonfly scales vertically first, only requiring clustering at an extremely high scale. This results in a far simpler operational model and a more reliable system.

Create advanced Excel spreadsheets using .NET

The code in this archive represents the final version of EPPlus under LGPL. There will be no more activity here. EPPlus will from version 5 switch license from LGPL to Polyform Noncommercial 1.0.0 license. With the new license EPPlus is still free to use in some cases, but will require a commercial license to be used in a commercial business. Create advanced Excel spreadsheets using .NET, without the need of interop. EPPlus is a .NET library that reads and writes Excel files using the Office Open XML format (xlsx). EPPlus has no dependencies other than .NET. This project started with the source from ExcelPackage. It was a great project to start from. It had the basic functionality needed to read and write a spreadsheet. Advantages over other: EPPlus uses dictionaries to access cell data, making performance a lot better. Complete integration with .NET.

    FerretDB

    FerretDB

A truly Open Source MongoDB alternative

MongoDB is a life-changing technology for many developers, empowering them to build applications faster than using relational databases. However, MongoDB abandoned its Open-Source roots, changing the license to SSPL making it unusable for many Open Source and Commercial Projects. FerretDB is going to be a perfect solution for those looking for MongoDB development experience available as fully Open Source Software. The core of our solution is a stateless proxy, which converts MongoDB protocol queries to SQL, and uses PostgreSQL as a database engine. This will be compatible with MongoDB drivers, and should work as a drop-in replacement to MongoDB in many cases. Our vision is to enable the open source community and developers to reap the benefits of easy-to-use document databases, while staying away from vendor lock-in, and fauxpen licenses. We are open source advocates at heart, and we release FerretDB with an open source license recognized by the Open Source Initiative.

    Garnet

Garnet is a remote cache-store from Microsoft Research

Garnet is a remote cache‑store developed by Microsoft Research. It delivers high throughput and low‑latency performance, supports scalability via clustering (sharding, replication, key migration, checkpointing, failover, transactions), and seamlessly integrates with existing Redis clients. Garnet offers much better throughput and scalability with many client connections and small batches, relative to comparable open-source cache-stores, leading to cost savings for large apps and services. Garnet demonstrates extremely low client latencies (often less than 300 microseconds at the 99.9th percentile) using commodity cloud (Azure) VMs with Accelerated Networking enabled, which is critical to real-world scenarios.
