    Soss

    Soss

    Probabilistic programming via source rewriting

Soss is a library for probabilistic programming. Soss and DynamicPPL are both maturing and becoming more complete, so the above will change over time. It's also worth noting that we (the Turing team and I) hope to move toward a natural way of using these systems together to arrive at the best of both.

    Augmentor.jl

    Augmentor.jl

A fast image augmentation library in Julia for machine learning

...It offers the user the ability to build a stochastic image-processing pipeline (or simply augmentation pipeline) using image operations as building blocks. In other words, an augmentation pipeline is little more but a sequence of operations for which the parameters can (but need not) be random variables, as the following code snippet demonstrates.

    fastPTOptimizer

a fork of the Panorama Tools / libpano13 with a fast PTOptimizer

...However if you have a large number of images (several hundrets or more than thousand) and control points, PTOptimizer typically needs much time (up to several days) for the optimization of the parameters. fastPTOptimizer decreases the processing time for large panoramas (a speedup factor of 100 or more can be achieved). This is possible by exploiting the sparseness of the mathematical optimization problem. The original PTOptimizer uses the well proven Levenberg Marquardt optimizer lmdif from the minpack software. fastPTOptimizer uses a "sparse" optimizer lmdif_sparse that uses the SuiteSparse library.

    OpticSim.jl

    OpticSim.jl

    Optical Simulation software

...Unlike Zemax, Code V, or other interactive optical design systems OpticSim.jl has limited support for interactivity, primarily in the tools for visualizing optical systems. A large variety of surface types are supported, and these can be composed into complex 3D objects through the use of constructive solid geometry (CSG). A complete catalog of optical materials is provided through the complementary GlassCat submodule. This software provides extensive control over the modelling, simulation, visualization and optimization of optical systems. It is especially suited for designs that have a procedural architecture.

Tool to work on map data, to check the data and generate your own maps

Karto allows to calibrate a scanned map (or aerial photos) with some known geo-points (Lambert, UTM, ...). After that, you can add any points (GPS points) in the map to build your own map. You can also add a transparent GIF image in the map after calibration (cave, mines, roads, ...). You can realize your own cartes with the data you add inside adding/showing/hiding layers of data. You can import/export your data files (after checking and correcting them) in differents formats.

    AlphaPlot

    AlphaPlot

Interactive scientific graphing and data analysis software.

Alpha Plot can generate different types of 2D and 3D plots (such as line, scatter, bar, pie, and surface plots) from data that is either imported from ASCII files, entered by hand, or calculated using formulas. The data is held in spreadsheets which are referred to as tables with column-based data (typically X and Y values for 2D plots) or matrices (for 3D plots).

    HiPlot

    HiPlot

HiPlot makes understanding high dimensional data easy

HiPlot is an interactive visualization toolkit for exploring high-dimensional experiments, especially those produced during hyperparameter search or ablation studies. Its core view is a parallel-coordinates plot that lets you brush, filter, and highlight runs to spot trade-offs, correlations, and Pareto fronts at a glance. You can load results from simple CSV/JSON logs or programmatically push “experiments” with typed fields, metrics, and tags. The UI supports dynamic filtering, color mapping, and tooltip details so you can iteratively narrow to the most promising configurations. Because it renders as self-contained HTML, you can embed the visualization in notebooks, export it, or serve it as a lightweight web app for teammates. ...

    RigidBodyDynamics.jl

    RigidBodyDynamics.jl

Julia implementation of various rigid body dynamics

RigidBodyDynamics.jl is a rigid body dynamics library in pure Julia. It aims to be user friendly and performant, but also generic in the sense that the algorithms can be called with inputs of any (suitable) scalar types. This means that if fast numeric dynamics evaluations are required, a user can supply Float64 or Float32 inputs. However, if symbolic quantities are desired for analysis purposes, they can be obtained by calling the algorithms with e.g. SymPy.Sym inputs. If gradients are required, e.g. the ForwardDiff.Dual type, which implements forward-mode automatic differentiation, can be used.
