FEATool Multiphysics - FEA & CFD Toolbox

FEATool Multiphysics - FEA & CFD Toolbox

FEATool Multiphysics is an easy-to-use FEA and CFD Simulation Toolbox

FEATool Multiphysics (https://www.featool.com) is a fully integrated toolbox for computer aided engineering CAE, finite element analysis & fluid dynamics simulations. With a very easy-to-use GUI, anyone is now able to quickly set up and perform large scale dynamical and complex engineering physics simulations, with coupled fluid flow, heat transfer, structural mechanics, chemical transport, and electromagnetics effects, without having to learn complex programming. ...

FEMM_PMSM_GUI_V2 1.FIX Parallel emf voltage problem and ind Calculation 2.add Arkkio torque Calculation 3.Support for segmentation models (sliding band mode only) 4.Supports iron loss calculation(Supported in full electrical cycle and sliding band modes; not supported in standard mode) #Add new FEMM_DXF_SET_Driver FEMM PMSM Motor GUI — V1 A multi-functional desktop GUI that automates finite-element (FEMM) analysis of permanent-magnet synchronous motors (PMSM/IPM). Built on top of FEMM via pyfemm, this tool wraps the repetitive, error-prone steps of motor FEA — rotor rotation sweeps, current injection, dq transforms, and post-processing — into a single point-and-click interface, so you can go from a .fem model to full motor characteristics in minutes. ...

    ParaFEM

    ParaFEM

    Parallel finite element analysis

ParaFEM is an open source platform for parallel finite element analysis. The source code and philosophy are documented in the text book Smith, Griffiths and Margetts, "Programming the Finite Element Method", 5th Edition, Wiley, 2014. The software is written in modern Fortran and uses MPI for message passing.

    ArchNURBS

    ArchNURBS

NURBS-based elastic and limit analysis of masonry arches in MATLAB

ArchNURBS is a MATLAB tool for the analysis of planar curved structures, with a particular attention to masonry arches. As in CAD softwares, the geometry of the model is defined by a NURBS representation of the structure. Indeed, the user can upload geometries imported from a CAD environment. Based on such a representation, ArchNURBS performs the elastic isogeometric finite element analysis and the collapse limit analysis of the structure.

    FEDES

A finite element data exchange system

FEDES is a Finite Element Data Exchange System for mapping finite element analysis data between different FE solvers and meshes with different element types and densities. Six commercial FE solvers are supported (ABAQUS, ANSYS, DEFORM, MARC, MORFEO, VULCAN). The FEA data outputted can be visualized with the open source program ParaView.
