Project-Sparroh is a hobby operating system project. Goal is to write an OS from scratch for the purposes of learning how they work and for fun. An assembler and high level language cross-compiler will also be written first and used to build the OS.

py-backwards is a transpiler that takes modern Python code (with newer syntax) and converts it to older Python versions so you can run it in legacy environments. For example, if you want to use f-strings, type annotations, or other Python 3.x niceties but have to deploy on a machine that only has an older interpreter, py-backwards rewrites your code to an equivalent, earlier syntax. It does this by parsing the source into an abstract syntax tree (AST), applying transformation rules, and emitting compatible code. Pybris is a compiler written in Python using Pyparsing for the B Programming Language. The compiler emits a variant of Bitmario RISVM assembly. The practical goal of the project is to provide a way to develop digital signal processing (DSP) effects for the Competent Audio library that is a friendlier alternative to writing RISVM assembly by hand.
