The AWS Cloud Map Multi-cluster Service Discovery Controller for Kubernetes (K8s) implements the Kubernetes multi-cluster services API specification, which allows services to communicate across multiple clusters. The F1 development flow currently supports the requirement with Vitis, but there is no such support available for full custom RTL development flow (Vivado design flow). AWS F1.A.1.4 shell is targeted at enabling this. AWS F1.A.1.4 shell enables customers to migrate designs seamlessly between on-premise U200 Alveo card and F1 platform in a full custom RTL development flow. This gives choice to the customers to use either a Vitis flow or a full custom RTL/Vivado design flow and seamlessly migrate designs between Alveo U200 and F1. The F1.A.1.4 shell for Alveo U200 is fully compatible with F1.X.1.4 shell thus making the migration as simple as swapping the shell with one another, with no design changes to user logic. Xilinx device, xcu200-fsgd2104-2-e (Part used in U200) is based on VU9P and has the same base SLR die with the same number of SLRs as VU9P (F1 device). -

The AWS IoT Greengrass Core SDK is meant to be used by AWS Lambda functions running on an AWS IoT Greengrass Core. It will enable Lambda functions to invoke other Lambda functions deployed to the Greengrass Core, publish messages to the Greengrass Core and work with the local Shadow service. To use the AWS IoT Greengrass Core SDK, you must first import the AWS IoT Greengrass Core SDK in your Lambda function as you would with any other external libraries. You then need to create a client for ‘iot-data’ or ‘lambda’. Use ‘iot-data’ if you wish to publish messages to the local Greengrass Core and interact with the local Shadow service. Use ‘lambda’ if you wish to invoke other Lambda functions deployed to the same Greengrass Core. As new features are added to AWS IoT Greengrass, newer versions of the AWS IoT Greengrass SDK may be incompatible with older versions of the AWS IoT Greengrass core. -

The Lambda Runtime Interface Client is a lightweight interface that allows your runtime to receive requests from and send requests to the Lambda service. The Lambda NodeJS Runtime Interface Client is vended through npm. You can include this package in your preferred base image to make that base image Lambda compatible. To make it easy to locally test Lambda functions packaged as container images we open-sourced a lightweight web-server, Lambda Runtime Interface Emulator (RIE), which allows your function packaged as a container image to accept HTTP requests. You can install the AWS Lambda Runtime Interface Emulator on your local machine to test your function. -

The AWS X-Ray daemon listens for traffic on UDP port 2000, gathers raw segment data, and relays it to the AWS X-Ray API. The daemon works in conjunction with the AWS X-Ray SDKs and must be running so that data sent by the SDKs can reach the X-Ray service. The X-Ray SDK sends segment documents to the daemon to avoid making calls to AWS directly. You can send the segment/subsegment in JSON over UDP port 2000 to the X-Ray daemon, prepended by the daemon header. On AWS Lambda and AWS Elastic Beanstalk, use those services' integration with X-Ray to run the daemon. Lambda runs the daemon automatically any time a function is invoked for a sampled request. On Elastic Beanstalk, use the XRayEnabled configuration option to run the daemon on the instances in your environment. To run the X-Ray daemon locally, on-premises, or on other AWS services, download it, run it, and then give it permission to upload segment documents to X-Ray. -

A custom library for Amazon Neptune that enables AWS Signature Version
This project provides a custom library that extends the Apache TinkerPop Gremlin.NET client to enable AWS IAM Signature Version 4 signing for establishing authenticated connections to Amazon Neptune. For example usage refer to: NeptuneGremlinNETSigV4Example.cs. This example shows how to leverage this library for establishing an authenticated connection to Neptune. The GremlinClient library accepts both a GremlinServer object as well as a webSocketConfiguration object that contains a custom configuration set for establishing the WebSocket connection to Amazon Neptune. The SigV4RequestSigner library fetchs IAM credentials using the FallbackCredentialsFactory API (which works similarly to the Java Default Credential Provider Chain), performs the proper Signature Version 4 signing of an http request, and creates the proper WebSocket configuration based on this signed http request. One can then pass this webSocketConfiguration to the GremlinClient to create the connection to Neptune. -

Cloudmapper needs to make IAM calls and cannot use session credentials for collection, so you cannot use the AWS-vault server if you want to collect data, and must pass role credentials indirectly or configure AWS credentials manually inside the container. This Action for firebase-tools enables arbitrary actions with the firebase command-line client. Starting with version v2.1.2 each version release will point to a versioned docker image allowing for hardening our pipeline (so things don't break when I do something dump). On top of this, you can also point to a master version if you would like to test out what might not be deployed into a release yet. If you want to add a message to a deployment (e.g. the Git commit message) you need to take extra care and escape the quotes or the YAML breaks. A normal service account key(json format) or a base64 encoded service account key with the needed permissions for what you are trying to deploy/update. If you're deploying functions, you would also need the Cloud Functions Developer role, and the Cloud Scheduler Admin for scheduled functions. -

We (the folks at Very Good Ventures) teamed up with Google to bring an interactive experience to this year’s Google I/O: a photo booth! You can take pictures with well-known Google mascots: Flutter’s Dash, Android Jetpack, Chrome’s Dino, and Firebase’s Sparky, and decorate photos with stickers, including party hats, pizza, funky glasses, and more. Finally, you can share photos on social media and download them to update your profile picture for the event! We built the I/O Photo Booth using Flutter on the web and Firebase. Because Flutter now offers support for web apps, we thought it would be a great way to make this app easily accessible to attendees all over the world for this year’s virtual Google I/O. Flutter’s web support eliminates the barrier of having to install an app from an app store and also gives you the flexibility to run it on your device.
