    aws-nuke

    aws-nuke

Nuke a whole AWS account and delete all its resources

Remove all resources from an AWS account. Be aware that aws-nuke is a very destructive tool, hence you have to be very careful while using it. Otherwise, you might delete production data. We strongly advise you to not run this application on any AWS account, where you cannot afford to lose all resources. We are testing our Terraform code with Jenkins. Sometimes a Terraform run fails during development and messes up the account. With aws-nuke, we can simply clean up the failed account so it can be reused for the next build. Our platform developers have their own AWS accounts where they can create their own Kubernetes clusters for testing purposes. With AWS-nuke it is very easy to clean up these accounts at the end of the day and keep the costs low. There are two ways to authenticate aws-nuke. There are static credentials and profiles. The later one can be configured in the shared credentials file.

    next-firebase-auth

    next-firebase-auth

Simple Firebase authentication for all Next.js rendering strategies

Simple Firebase authentication for all Next.js rendering strategies. This package makes it simple to get the authenticated Firebase user and ID token during both client-side and server-side rendering (SSR). We treat the Firebase JS SDK as the source of truth for auth status. When the user signs in, we call an endpoint to generate a refresh token and store the user info, ID token, and refresh token in cookies. Future requests to SSR pages receive the user info and ID token from cookies, refreshing the ID token as needed. When the user logs out, we unset the cookies. This package will likely be helpful if you're using Firebase authentication and expect to use server-side rendering—especially if you need access to Firebase ID tokens on the server side. If your app only uses static pages or doesn't need the Firebase user for SSR, use the Firebase JS SDK directly to load the user on the client side.

    AWS CDI SDK

    AWS CDI SDK

AWS Cloud Digital Interface (CDI) SDK

The AWS Cloud Digital Interface (CDI) SDK is the library which implements the low-latency reliable transport of data between systems in the cloud including AWS Media Services and Amazon EC2 instances. The SDK takes care of the complex task of ensuring that large amounts of data are seamlessly transferred across the AWS network using multi-path technology to ensure lossless quality without the need for extensive network buffering and delay. The SDK consists of two main API layers, depending on the desired level of functionality, and a common core layer. The CDI Audio, Video and Metadata (CDI-AVM) layer takes care of transferring multi-stream, modern video signals that contain video, audio and metadata. The CDI Raw Payload (CDI-RAW) layer takes care of transferring raw generic payloads. The CDI Core (CDI-CORE) layer takes care of common core functionality.

AWS Cloud Map MCS Controller for K8s

AWS Cloud Map MCS Controller for K8s

K8s controller implementing Multi-Cluster Services API

The AWS Cloud Map Multi-cluster Service Discovery Controller for Kubernetes (K8s) implements the Kubernetes multi-cluster services API specification, which allows services to communicate across multiple clusters. The implementation relies on AWS Cloud Map for enabling cross-cluster service discovery. For multi-cluster service discovery and consumption, the controller should be installed on a minimum of 2 EKS clusters. Participating clusters should be provisioned into a single AWS account, within a single AWS region. Install the The CoreDNS multicluster plugin into each participating cluster. The multicluster plugin enables CoreDNS to lifecycle manage DNS records for ServiceImport objects. The controller must have sufficient IAM permissions to perform required Cloud Map operations. Grant IAM access rights AWSCloudMapFullAccess to the controller Service Account to enable the controller to manage Cloud Map resources.

    AWS F1.A.1.4

    AWS F1.A.1.4

Migrate between Alveo and F1 platforms

F1 customers want to seamlessly migrate between Alveo and F1 platforms to enable scaling in AWS cloud. The F1 development flow currently supports the requirement with Vitis, but there is no such support available for full custom RTL development flow (Vivado design flow). AWS F1.A.1.4 shell is targeted at enabling this. AWS F1.A.1.4 shell enables customers to migrate designs seamlessly between on-premise U200 Alveo card and F1 platform in a full custom RTL development flow. This gives choice to the customers to use either a Vitis flow or a full custom RTL/Vivado design flow and seamlessly migrate designs between Alveo U200 and F1. The F1.A.1.4 shell for Alveo U200 is fully compatible with F1.X.1.4 shell thus making the migration as simple as swapping the shell with one another, with no design changes to user logic. Xilinx device, xcu200-fsgd2104-2-e (Part used in U200) is based on VU9P and has the same base SLR die with the same number of SLRs as VU9P (F1 device).

AWS Greengrass Core SDK for JavaScript
The AWS Greengrass Core SDK for JavaScript allows developers to write JavaScript Lambda functions that will run within Greengrass. This document provides instructions for preparing your Greengrass Core environment to run Lambda functions written in JavaScript. It also includes examples on how to develop a Lambda function in JavaScript as well as packaging and running an example Hello World file in JavaScript for your Greengrass core. The environment where Greengrass is running on needs to be able to run NodeJS 12.x applications. Unzip the SDK into your node_modules folder of your function. This should create a aws-greengrass-core-sdk folder which includes the SDK. Your console.log operation will be logged as INFO. A console.error operation will be logged as error. Currently, our NodeJS SDK only allows you to log at info or error level only.

AWS IoT Device SDK for Embedded C

AWS IoT Device SDK for Embedded C

SDK for connecting to AWS IoT from a device using embedded C

The AWS IoT Device SDK for Embedded C (C-SDK) is a collection of C source files under the MIT open source license that can be used in embedded applications to securely connect IoT devices to AWS IoT Core. It contains MQTT client, HTTP client, JSON Parser, AWS IoT Device Shadow, AWS IoT Jobs, and AWS IoT Device Defender libraries. This SDK is distributed in source form and can be built into customer firmware along with application code, other libraries, and an operating system (OS) of your choice. These libraries are only dependent on standard C libraries, so they can be ported to various OS's - from embedded Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS) to Linux/Mac/Windows. You can find sample usage of C-SDK libraries on POSIX systems using OpenSSL (e.g. Linux demos in this repository), and on FreeRTOS using mbedTLS (e.g. FreeRTOS demos in the FreeRTOS repository). The coreHTTP library provides the ability to establish an HTTP connection with a server over a customer-implemented transport layer.

    AWS IoT Greengrass Core SDK

    AWS IoT Greengrass Core SDK

SDK to use with functions running on Greengrass Core using Python

The AWS IoT Greengrass Core SDK is meant to be used by AWS Lambda functions running on an AWS IoT Greengrass Core. It will enable Lambda functions to invoke other Lambda functions deployed to the Greengrass Core, publish messages to the Greengrass Core and work with the local Shadow service. To use the AWS IoT Greengrass Core SDK, you must first import the AWS IoT Greengrass Core SDK in your Lambda function as you would with any other external libraries. You then need to create a client for ‘iot-data’ or ‘lambda’. Use ‘iot-data’ if you wish to publish messages to the local Greengrass Core and interact with the local Shadow service. Use ‘lambda’ if you wish to invoke other Lambda functions deployed to the same Greengrass Core. As new features are added to AWS IoT Greengrass, newer versions of the AWS IoT Greengrass SDK may be incompatible with older versions of the AWS IoT Greengrass core.

    AWS SDK for Ruby

    AWS SDK for Ruby

    AWS SDK for Ruby

Get started quickly using AWS with the AWS SDK for Ruby. The SDK helps take the complexity out of coding by providing Ruby classes for many AWS services including Amazon S3, Amazon EC2, DynamoDB, and more. The SDK is provided as individual downloadable packages for each AWS service, which include code and documentation. The SDK is also available through Ruby Gems. Version 3 of the AWS SDK for Ruby modularizes the monolithic SDK into service-specific gems, for example, aws-sdk-s3 and aws-sdk-dynamodb. Now each service gem uses strict semantic versioning, along with the benefits of continuous delivery of AWS API updates. With modularization, you can pick and choose which service gems your application or library requires, and update service gems independently of each other. You will need to configure credentials and a region, either in configuration files or environment variables, to make API calls. It is recommended that you provide these via your environment.

    AWS X-Ray Daemon

    AWS X-Ray Daemon

The AWS X-Ray daemon listens for traffic on UDP port 2000

The AWS X-Ray daemon listens for traffic on UDP port 2000, gathers raw segment data, and relays it to the AWS X-Ray API. The daemon works in conjunction with the AWS X-Ray SDKs and must be running so that data sent by the SDKs can reach the X-Ray service. The X-Ray SDK sends segment documents to the daemon to avoid making calls to AWS directly. You can send the segment/subsegment in JSON over UDP port 2000 to the X-Ray daemon, prepended by the daemon header. On AWS Lambda and AWS Elastic Beanstalk, use those services' integration with X-Ray to run the daemon. Lambda runs the daemon automatically any time a function is invoked for a sampled request. On Elastic Beanstalk, use the XRayEnabled configuration option to run the daemon on the instances in your environment. To run the X-Ray daemon locally, on-premises, or on other AWS services, download it, run it, and then give it permission to upload segment documents to X-Ray.
