    AWS SDK for Java 2.0

    AWS SDK for Java 2.0

The official AWS SDK for Java - Version 2

The AWS SDK for Java v2 is a modern, modular rewrite that reduces dependencies, improves performance, and embraces non-blocking I/O. Each AWS service ships as its own small artifact, so applications include only what they use, cutting footprint and cold-start time. The SDK provides both synchronous clients and a high-performance asynchronous stack built on event-driven HTTP, enabling reactive pipelines and high-throughput services. Models are immutable and builders are pervasive, leading to safer code and clearer intent. Credential providers, region resolution, retries, and paginators are redesigned with extensibility in mind, and integrations are available for common observability and HTTP client choices. For teams starting new Java projects on AWS, v2 is the default choice due to its modularity, improved ergonomics, and better runtime characteristics.

    AWS VPC Terraform module

    AWS VPC Terraform module

Terraform module which creates VPC resources on AWS

Terraform module which creates VPC resources on AWS. By default this module will provision new Elastic IPs for the VPC's NAT Gateways. This means that when creating a new VPC, new IPs are allocated, and when that VPC is destroyed those IPs are released. Sometimes it is handy to keep the same IPs even after the VPC is destroyed and re-created. To that end, it is possible to assign existing IPs to the NAT Gateways. This prevents the destruction of the VPC from releasing those IPs, while making it possible that a re-created VPC uses the same IPs. By default, if NAT Gateways are enabled, private subnets will be configured with routes for Internet traffic that point at the NAT Gateways configured by use of the above options. Since AWS Lambda functions allocate Elastic Network Interfaces in proportion to the traffic received, it can be useful to allocate a large private subnet for such allocations, while keeping the traffic they generate entirely internal to the VPC.

    AWS X-Ray Daemon

    AWS X-Ray Daemon

The AWS X-Ray daemon listens for traffic on UDP port 2000

The AWS X-Ray daemon listens for traffic on UDP port 2000, gathers raw segment data, and relays it to the AWS X-Ray API. The daemon works in conjunction with the AWS X-Ray SDKs and must be running so that data sent by the SDKs can reach the X-Ray service. The X-Ray SDK sends segment documents to the daemon to avoid making calls to AWS directly. You can send the segment/subsegment in JSON over UDP port 2000 to the X-Ray daemon, prepended by the daemon header. On AWS Lambda and AWS Elastic Beanstalk, use those services' integration with X-Ray to run the daemon. Lambda runs the daemon automatically any time a function is invoked for a sampled request. On Elastic Beanstalk, use the XRayEnabled configuration option to run the daemon on the instances in your environment. To run the X-Ray daemon locally, on-premises, or on other AWS services, download it, run it, and then give it permission to upload segment documents to X-Ray.

    Azure SDK for Python

    Azure SDK for Python

Active development of the Azure SDK for Python

This repository is for active development of the Azure SDK for Python. For consumers of the SDK we recommend visiting our public developer docs or our versioned developer docs. For your convenience, each service has a separate set of libraries that you can choose to use instead of one, large Azure package. To get started with a specific library, see the README.md (or README.rst) file located in the library's project folder. Last stable versions of packages that have been provided for usage with Azure and are production-ready. These libraries provide you with similar functionalities to the Preview ones as they allow you to use and consume existing resources and interact with them, for example: upload a blob. They might not implement the guidelines or have the same feature set as the November releases. They do however offer wider coverage of services. A new set of management libraries that follow the Azure SDK Design Guidelines for Python are now available.

    Firebase Apple Open Source Development

    Firebase Apple Open Source Development

Firebase SDK for Apple App Development

This repository contains all Apple platform Firebase SDK source except FirebaseAnalytics. Firebase is an app development platform with tools to help you build, grow and monetize your app. More information about Firebase can be found on the official Firebase website. See the subsections below for details about the different installation methods. Where available, it's recommended to install any libraries with a Swift suffix to get the best experience when writing your app in Swift. Instructions for Swift Package Manager support can be found at SwiftPackageManager Markdown file. All of the official releases are tagged in this repo and available via CocoaPods. To access a local source snapshot or unreleased branch, use Podfile directives. CocoaPods is still the canonical way to develop, but much of the repo now supports development with Swift Package Manager.

    GitHub Actions for Firebase

    GitHub Actions for Firebase

GitHub Action for interacting with Firebase

This Action for firebase-tools enables arbitrary actions with the firebase command-line client. Starting with version v2.1.2 each version release will point to a versioned docker image allowing for hardening our pipeline (so things don't break when I do something dump). On top of this, you can also point to a master version if you would like to test out what might not be deployed into a release yet. If you want to add a message to a deployment (e.g. the Git commit message) you need to take extra care and escape the quotes or the YAML breaks. A normal service account key(json format) or a base64 encoded service account key with the needed permissions for what you are trying to deploy/update. If you're deploying functions, you would also need the Cloud Functions Developer role, and the Cloud Scheduler Admin for scheduled functions.

Detect compliance and security violations across Infrastructure

Detect compliance and security violations across Infrastructure as Code to mitigate risk before provisioning cloud native infrastructure. As you embrace Infrastructure as Code (IaC) such as Terraform, Kubernetes, Argo CD, Atlantis and AWS CloudFormation, it is important to ensure that security best practices and compliance requirements are observed. Terracan provides 500+ out-of-the-box policies so that you can scan IaC against common policy standards such as the CIS Benchmark. It leverages the Open Policy Agent (OPA) engine so that you can easily create custom policies using the Rego query language. Monitor provisioned cloud infrastructure for configuration changes that introduce posture drift, and enables reverting to a secure posture. Detect security vulnerabilities and compliance violations.

    CloudMapper

    CloudMapper

CloudMapper analyzes your Amazon Web Services (AWS) environments

CloudMapper helps you analyze your Amazon Web Services (AWS) environments. The original purpose was to generate network diagrams and display them in your browser (functionality no longer maintained). It now contains much more functionality, including auditing for security issues. If you want to add your own private commands, you can create a private_commands directory and add them there. You must have AWS credentials configured that can be used by the CLI with reading permissions for the different metadata to collect. Cloudmapper needs to make IAM calls and cannot use session credentials for collection, so you cannot use the AWS-vault server if you want to collect data, and must pass role credentials indirectly or configure AWS credentials manually inside the container. Generate HTML report. Includes a summary of the accounts and audit findings. Generate an HTML report for the IAM information of an account.
