    vahatraker

a live MIDI sequencer for JACK

...It relies 100% on JACK audio connection kit for input/output/synch and uses jack_capture for rendering. The GUI has similar dependencies as gnome-calculator and tracker paradigm was chosen to allow for rhythmic gymnastics otherwise hard to convey. Low level stuff was done in C and wrapped in Python. Human interfacing part of contraption employs GTK through gobject introspection and was also contrived in the language we shall no longer spam abo

Snarl displays short bursts of information on screen in the form of small, beautiful, pop-ups that fade in and out. However, it's much more than just that: connect applications and external sources into Snarl to provide a rich array of notifications in a single place, then create rules to forward these notifications to your mobile devices, email inbox - or even friends, family, or a workforce.

    fuser

    fuser

    fuser v0.9 for windows / win32

I don't know how many times I've searched the web for a win32 version of fuser. It is a great utility used in Unix/Linux for figuring out what process(es) have a file open (among other stuff). Many would ask, "why not use handle.exe from SysInternals?" While being a truly excellent utility (as all of SysInternals stuff is), it falls short -- at least for me -- for a couple of reasons: 1) It does filename pattern matching. I need it to do exact file matches with partial input. For example, when I'm in the C:\TMP directory, and I'm checking on a file named 'out.dat', I want it to see if the file C:\TMP\OUT.DAT is being used without having to type the full path in. ...

    Linux for Beagleboard-xm

A Tailored Small Linux for Beagleboard-xm

Beagleboard-xm is a powerful chip with a cortex-A8 CPU and a DSP. I have the plan to build an OCR gadget using it with Linux. As a by product I will post my tailored Linux kernel and u-boot, and all relevant stuff here, from now on. I was shocked by the blocking of Chinese citizens from accessing some of the contents on sourceforge. I deeply regret the outrageous action initiated, even though I fully understand the reasoning behind it.

    lagrange_simulation_mechanics

    lagrange_simulation_mechanics

simulations with Lagrangian method, both symbolic and by numeric deriv

...All well-grouped in folders. there is also a 'review' in 3 demos of the Newtonian dynamics: mass-spring systems. most of progs are written in C, with use of SDL lib to display simple graphics and have real-time interactivity. As to programming complexity, it's very simple... this all aims at classical physics simulation in a simple but efficient way. The numeric stuff really just illustrate the use of a real little physics-engine aimed at articulated body simulation... that's the funnest part of it: but of course much more is coming. Also some examples in Game Maker and Matlab/Octave are coming soon. link to Part 1 of the video where all method is thoroughly exmplained: http://youtu.be/ELD0WPOxNb0 http://youtu.be/Kjhkyq-pLLw the part_2 shall explain numeric stuff, and some support for collisions and serious rigid bodies jointed.
