Shows how easy it would be to gain unauthorized access to a system

Number one of the biggest security holes are passwords, as every password security study shows. This tool is a proof of concept code, to give researchers and security consultants the possibility to show how easy it would be to gain unauthorized access from remote to a system. There are already several login hacker tools available, however, none does either support more than one protocol to attack or support parallelized connects. It was tested to compile cleanly on Linux, Windows/Cygwin,...

    VeraCrypt

Open source disk encryption with strong security for the Paranoid

VeraCrypt is a free disk encryption software brought to you by IDRIX (https://www.idrix.fr) and based on TrueCrypt 7.1a. It adds enhanced security to the algorithms used for system and partitions encryption making it immune to new developments in brute-force attacks. It also solves many vulnerabilities and security issues found in TrueCrypt. This enhanced security adds some delay ONLY to the opening of encrypted partitions without any performance impact to the application use phase. This is acceptable to the legitimate owner but it makes it much harder for an attacker to gain access to the encrypted data. ...

    Primes

Calculate primes by using extremely fast sorting

...It includes the most efficient tree-based sorting algorithm that is possible and shows that finding a new prime can be done by sorting the differences between the previous primes in the right way. Unfortunately it has turned out that going this way is even more slowly than trying to find primes by brute force. So it can only be used as a test with heavy load for the sorting algorithm, which can be used for sorting any kind of data. And as already mentioned, it's just the most efficient tree-based sorting algorithm that you can get. But furthermore this way of finding primes interestingly leaves a hard nut to crack for mathematicians: In very rare cases it finds numbers that are not primes. ...

First experiment with OpenGL - a simple car racing game

This is my first experiment with the OpenGL library GLUT. The animation is basically based on textured sprite animation coupled with basic car physics components like outward centrifugal force experienced during a turn, acceleration, deceleration, etc. Multiplayer option is also available but with a few issues which need to be fixed. Feel free to download the code, customize and play! Please mail me if you want to know more about the implementation or if you have any suggestions or ideas. The game documentation and code documentation are also available as pdf files.
