...Also included now are two options to watch an engine e.g. the 'aggressive' Patricia5 (with gambits) play against another engine (eg IM level). The engine gambit books are made in such a way that 1) real lousy gambits are not played, and 2) the book is choosing a gambit line as often as possible, so for Black it might go for e.g. a Benko gambit or so and if you let it play with White, a lot of 1.e4 gambits can be played. Thereby, if you try a gambit yourself, the program might try to a counter-gambit (or sometimes an unconventional line). It will play weak against other engines, and it not meant as to play very strong/perfectly, but for human opponents, the gambit lines will most often result in entertaining -not boring- games, and require quite some concentration to avoid tactical mistakes. -

Mastermind RK is a little cross-platform game for various classic Z80-based computers, written in C using the z88dk compiler (www.z88dk.org). Your goal is to break a four-digit colour code in as few moves as possible. The compiled program is a little over 8K in size, so it usually requires the target machine to have at least 16K RAM. Turning trace mode on it is possible to play against computer with ultra skill level, where the analysation depth is increased to 2. With this setting the AI is stronger but the gameplay is unbearable slow. It is just for test purpose. -

Monopoly clone written in Java for 2-8 players (including computer players) that was designed to make quite a lot of things customisable from the user's point of view. Four board files are included. Two are based on regional variations of Monopoly but with places named after colours instead, the other two are there more to demonstrate what can be done. Hopefully there are no major bugs in the game - I cannot guarantee that there are none, but I've done some testing on Linux and Windows...

There are more options but some of them are not implemented. I'm only putting this here now (2012) but this was one of the projects for a University course in 2003, when I was still a student. I just thought I should put this some place safe, and so... here it is! -

...Key a-z is used for one player and 0-9 is used for another player for changing turns. It supports saving the last state in case of power failure, count number of moves. The code is not so wel organized.
