Player can roll up to three times per turn, either all dice or selected dice. The game consists of eighteen rounds. Another open source java chess engine. The project is in a very early stage. Winboard compliance is partial. Does not support undo of moves or time controls. Right now it makes a move every 45 seconds. If you are a beginner-intermediate player you might find this a good sparring partner.I have tested this only with Arena3.0. I plan to make this stronger gradually. In the the end an array of ChessNovices with varying playing strenths should be available.
