PreviSat is a satellite tracking software for observing purposes. Very easy to use, it shows positions of artificial satellites in real-time or manual mode. PreviSat is able to make predictions of their passes, predictions of MetOp and COSMO-SkyMed flares, transits of all satellites, predictions of Starlink satellites passes and several other calculations.

The PDL module gives standard perl the ability to COMPACTLY store and SPEEDILY manipulate the large N-dimensional data sets that are the bread and butter of scientific computing.

Project to calculate and distribute the general relativistic corrections to clock rates for the surfaces of various solar system bodies. These corrections are also known as time ephemerides.

VStar is a multi-platform, easy-to-use variable star observation visualisation and analysis tool. Data can be read from a file or the AAVSO database, light curves and phase plots created, period analysis performed, and filters applied. libnova is a general purpose, double precision, celestial mechanics, astrometry and astrodynamics library.

Nowadays the idea of a music of the spheres, or a cosmic music that descends from the planets seems more like poetic philosophy than anything scientific. However, when the scientist Kepler discovered special principles about planetary motion, he also reconsidered the music. Apparently his observance of a harmonic law of planetary motion was reason for him to propose a computable system of pitch and harmony deriving from angular velocity. The purpose of the programming project is as a tool to examine his system. With Java 2, it provides an open-source solution for listening to harmonies so generated by planetary motion. Aciqra is a virtual planetarium and sky mapping program which tracks celestial bodies including planets, deep sky objects and stars to an accuracy of a fraction of a degree for thousands of years into both the future and the past. It includes the 2.5 million stars of the Tycho-2 catalog supplemented by data of 120,000 stars from the Hipparcos catalog, 13,000 deep space objects from the NGC and IC catalogs and a large number of asteroids and comets from the Minor Planet Center. The program is platform-independent and can be made to work on most modern computers that support OpenGL.
