PGMania is a universal package for processing deep space images. The program provides wide and unique functionality, a powerful and flexible tool with a clear and user-friendly interface. The program performs all image processing cycles for astrophotography, including filtering, cleaning, aligning, image calibrating, stacking, post-processing, format conversion, cropping, rotations, many special operations and much more.

This is a fork of the longer unmaintained Project "Dark Master" which still can be found here: https://sourceforge.net/projects/darkmaster/ Dark Master allows astrophotographers to quickly match dark frames to light frames based on temperature. The inputs to Dark Master are the directories to the light images and dark images. The output is a DeepSkyStacker file list. Updates for the fork: - Sorting of files: Via a pattern you can determine, how the groups and images processed by DarkMaster are saved in a directory. This allows to quickly build a library out of unsorted Darks, that also contains sensor temp information. - Fixes for exposure times <1s, which lead to exceptions in DarkMaster v1.15

HSPI saves your pictures in various formats: Bitmap, FIT, JPEG, PNG, TIFF are the picture formats supported.

...It was specially designed to restore panoramas obtained by Apollo missions in 1969-1972 but it can be used to restore any cyclorama from photos got in your tourist trip (for example). The main principle of the program is in projecting photos on a 360x360 sphere and combining it together. If you select a correct field of view (FOV) for photo images, its combination become ideal for distant points. For moon cyclorama it is also possible to check a Sun and Earth positions on the sky and to compare the result with a LOLA data (provided by the the LRO moon satellite).
