Echoes is a radio spectral analysis software for SDR devices
Echoes it's a radio spectral analysis software for SDR devices, designed for meteor scattering purposes. The older releases supported only RTL-SDR devices. They are very cheap SDR based on DVB-T TV tuner dongles based on Realtek's RTL2832U chipset. Starting from 0.50 Echoes embeds SoapySDR allowing the support of many other SDRs. Echoes doesn't demodulate neither decode any human-made signal. Its main goal is to analyze and record the total power of natural signals and generate screenshots and tabular data (CSV,) output in presence of particular peaks in a selected narrow range of frequencies. Since there is no demodulation, there is no provision for audio listening, except for a notify sound when an event has been recorded. Finally, Echoes can also operate getting an audio input, thus producing audio spectra. This way, Echoes can also be used with traditional receivers. -

Given N point masses in a three-dimensional space, its present positions and velocities, and supposing that the force of attraction experienced between each pair of particles is Newtonian, the project approximately predicts it's positions and velocities at a future moment of time. The project can visualize the simulation, and create a graphic real-time output using FreeGLUT, and also have an option for textual output and archiving. The DarkLight Cover/Calibrator (DLC) is a DIY project to build a motorized telescope cover, flat panel, or a combination flip-flat system. Its modular design supports various setups: a 12V light panel without a servo for a wall-mounted calibration panel, a servo-only cover for sky flats, or both integrated into a flip-flat mechanism. The DLC also includes optional dew heating to reduce extra equipment and cabling. With available drivers, it works with ASCOM or INDI.
